"Emily is a fantastic host, very responsive to questions, and she offered that our group could borrow their kayaks! The house was super clean, and the large size accommodated our party-size well (7 adults and 1 child). We walked in town, which was pleasantly quiet, got coffee at nearby Bigbys, ran on the rail trail and played at the outdoor park. Frankenmuth is an easy 15-20 minute drive from the house. Highly recommend!"

"We recently stayed at this residence and were extremely happy with the location, the amenities, and the welcoming feel we received from the hosts. Their game room was so much fun that we spent most days in there with our children having a blast. Even with the cold weather, it was worth the stay. "I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside. There are two beach areas- one rocky and one sandy- and the water is shallow (<4 ft) quite a ways out, which was perfect for the kids. "Great location and very peaceful. We stayed during Christmas, so we didn't get to enjoy the beach, but the view of Lake Huron is beautiful! The home is very spacious. I hope to come back and stay during the summer months!"
