"The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. "Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and accomodation"

"Good hotel service and staff Bit out of town so need to get a cab / uber but free parking is a bonus"

"Cory, the manager of The Fox, is a lovely host. Super hard working, he is around to serve breakfast and still managing the bar late at night. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and warm. Parking is immediately outside the rooms and easily accessed. Bury St Edmund’s is a lovely town with excellent shopping and coffee shops. Strongly recommend staying at The Fox for visiting Bury St Edmunds."

"Had a mews room on ground floor. Lovely to just step outside for coffee"

"The roast partridge and Rhone red were excellent, as was our room."

"A beautiful thatched pub in the Suffolk countryside with original features and delicious breakfast"

"Staff was very friendly, super quiet hotel with air conditioning. Very clean."

"A área do hotel não é junto com a do bar e restaurante. A recepção do hotel é no restaurante, depois de fazer o check in, o hóspede atravessa o estacionamento e vai para o hotel. Não tem elevador. Os valores da estadia dobraram de domingo para segunda então não estendemos nossa estadia."

"Lovely venue"

"There was only one member of staff on reception at check in time which means multiple guests have to wait to check in. We went for lunch and had to ask firstly to order drinks and then again to order food. Unfortunately the burgers were way over cooked and the waiter had no incling that this might not be acceptable. It is unfathomable to me based on the price that a full breakfast wouldn’t be included in room rate."
