"The Jackson River Estate was the perfect getaway for our 2025 Family Reunion. The estate is very spacious and provides magnificent views. There is river access but the water is cold. The pool and slide were a big hit! Cole’s Point (beach), the humpback bridge and waterfall were super close and great excursions. This location is great for families that like to be outdoors…hiking, fishing, kayaking…Check-in/out was super easy. Although we heard there might have been a bear, there was no sighting....

"The house was lovely and so comfortable. We loved the charm of the property and the updated kitchen. The location was great for access to the Homestead and the local restaurants. It was nice that the bathrooms were not inside any bedrooms so accessible to all. I would definitely stay at the Manse again if I go back."

"We booked for a sibling birthday retreat- traveling from Texas, NC and Va. The house was quaint, comfortable ( chairs on porch not so much- would have liked rocking chairs as advertised as the weather was perfect for spending time there). A few electrical glitches typical for older homes-plugs in guesthouse were wonky and couldn’t seem to get enough light. The plantings and yard were great sitting on the rocks by the stream watching hummingbirds feed was particularly restful. I’d certainly spend...

"We were visiting Marlinton, WV to bicycle ride the Greenbriar Trail. This house was perfect as you could ride to the trail within a few minutes. The house is also close to restaurants and a bike shop. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom linens were excellent. There is a cute kitchen with all the equipment you would need for a meal. Also chilled mugs for your beer. Overall we had a great stay and will be recommending to our friends. "

"So glad we found this amazing property instead of staying at the Omni Resort. I walked the property with beautiful views and flowers, butterflies and hummingbirds. The deer came every night! The bed was so comfy. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and at night we had a fire! A gas station and an IGA is so close. All the restaurants were very good. Every view from each room was perfect. We will be back! "

"Just arrived home after a great family vacation in Hot Springs. Thank you for sharing your lovely home . It was perfect for our family . Quiet and peaceful Enjoyed the Jefferson pools. Only disappointment was the difficulty we had getting into the Dairy Barn pool and center. Do want to inform you that we did break the glass shade to a lamp in your lower room. "Better than advertised. Would recommend for for a group of 8 or less. Kitchen is. It equipped for cooking meals but Clifton Forge is only 25 mins away. Camp Director Chasity was very helpful before and during our stay. "

"Absolutely adore this property! The apartment is darling, welcoming, cozy and oh my gosh was it clean!! I could spend my entire life there!! It was just what we needed but our stay just wasn't long enough!! I could go back right now and can't wait til we do again!!"

"Hands down, the nicest, most enjoyable vacation rental experience to date. This house is not only more beautiful than most primary homes, it had absolutely everything a large family/group would need - and then some. The manager and her team had the property ready and accessible to my family well in advance of normal check-in (and communicated it early in the day), making it so easy for those arriving early or living nearby to settled and stock the kitchen. "What a wonderful place to stay. Mornings on the rear deck overlooking the creek(with mixed warm water from Warm Spring Pool fed). Afternoons on the side deck out of the sun. Nights by the firepit looking at the stars. House was extremely well appointed with everything we needed. Listing states three beadrooms, but in addition has a closed in porch with day bed. Within walking distance of town and a very good resterant, but get reservations early. Milk Dairy Market has the best sandwiches ever...
