"The entrance to the reception and immediate surrounding grounds were beautiful and immaculate. The additional buildings were not so nice, big standard harling walls. All staff with the exception of one waitress (who was rude) were all amazingly friendly and helpful. There was a family wedding the weekend after we left so the owners were painting various areas (which did not cause any distress) so I’m not sure what the shared areas were like before that. The food was also fantastic albeit...

"Lovely staff very helpful few issues on arrival apparently Expedia and the hotel had not communicated properly. We didn't like staying in the Gatehouse room...it was dark, the spare room was quite scary thank goodness we didn't use it. My man was so looking forward to a nice bath and jacuzzi but hey ho...the jacuzzi didn't work. Nice breakfast. Won't stay here again though."

"Wonderful quirky and homely guest house that really felt like ‘home’ and we were made to feel incredibly welcome from arrival. The street scene was beautiful and we parked super easy. We stayed in the small double with the bathroom across the landing. Not for the prude, who prefer discretion, but we found it perfectly fine and a fun experience dodging guest movements up and down the stairway when using the bathroom. It is key locked, so no one else can use. Quite tight; I am 6ft 2in and found...
