With Lyme Regis just 3½ miles away, this cottage is a great base from which to explore Dorset and east Devon.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Zip And Link Super Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request)

Bathroom: Roll Top Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Enclosed gravelled patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Large garden (shared with owners). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. In a lovely position 3½ miles from the picturesque, seaside resort of Lyme Regis and the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, this well-equipped, semi-detached holiday cottage, adjacent to the owners’ home, offers a great location to explore West Dorset and into East Devon.

There is a spacious and light-filled open plan living space, with a fully fitted kitchen, a comfy 3-seater sofa and funky armchairs. There is also an electric wood burner for cosy nights in and a Smart TV offering Netflix and Amazon Prime. The kitchen area has ample work surfaces for dishing up culinary delicacies, whilst the dining area is perfect for sociable gatherings with friends or family. Upstairs, the bedroom is spacious and has been decorated with Laura Ashley wallpaper and fabrics. It features a super kingsize zip and link bed with sumptuous 400-thread count linen. The stunning bathroom has a separate claw-footed roll-top bath which is under the roof light, from which you can view the starry skies, and a curved shower cubicle.

A short easy drive allows you to enjoy Lyme Regis, with all its quaint shops and its wonderful scenic harbour and Cobb, the bustling town of Axminster, River Cottage, Forde Abbey and Gardens and Broadwindsor Craft Centre. Further afield, visit Beer, Branscombe and Seaton, and going east, West Bay, Bridport and onto Weymouth and Portland. There is much to do, including superb coastal and country walking, and village pubs for wining and dining. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

The cottage should actually be called Mary Poppins as it was "Practically perfect in every way" Lovely welcoming host, comfortable, cozy, clean cottage. Bathroom and bed to die for - with the added bonus of being able to look at the stars while laying in bed and/or the bath. Lovely touches like the welcome cream tea and fresh flowers made it all the more special. Will definitely be back!!!

Absolutely stunning cottage. Our best find yet. Scrupulously clean and comfortably, and attractively furnished. A superking bed and luxury bathroom. Zishan's generous cream tea was so welcome & most enjoyable. We would love to go to this cottage again as so many others have already done - see The Visitors Book there. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed for a self catering holiday. It was both modern and tasteful. It was lovely to have a car port enabling the car to be loaded in the dry. The reason for giving 8 for both location and local amenities because the road was quite fast and the pavement narrow making walking a little difficult and the local amenities had to be accessed by car. A brilliant week at A Twist of Lyme. Lovely pet friendly cottage with large safe front and rear gardens. Wonderful comfy bed with no noise so slept well. Roll top bath looking up to stars! Well equipped. Hosts very friendly. Will definitely go back again soon 👍😊🐾

Lovely and comfortable cottage. Had everything we required, and was absolutely high standard of cleanliness. Our host was very helpful, but gave us privacy to enjoy our holiday. Location was perfect, with close locations to Lyme Regis; Charmouth; West bay and lots more. We are already booking the same place for next year. Highly recommended.

A very clean and comfortable cottage.

A very clean and comfortable cottage. We had a lovely warm welcome from Zishan. There was everything we needed in the cottage including homemade scones,cream and jam and even treats for the dog. The bed was comfortable with lovely bedding on it. We had use of the garden as well. Hopefully we will return there as it was the best cottage we have ever stayed in.

We had a lovely stay in this cosy cottage. Everything was very clean and the owners very friendly. The scones and lemon drizzle cake were wonderful. Only a couple of miles drive from the coast which was perfect for us. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay here again.
