"I wanted to love this hotel, but the experience didn't come close to justifying the price. The rooms are extremely small, and having a Murphy bed means there's barely any usable space beyond sleeping. For boutique hotel rates, the accommodations felt cramped and underwhelming. The walls are also incredibly thin. Despite quiet hours being posted throughout the property, they don't seem to be enforced. You can easily hear neighboring conversations and, unfortunately, even hear toilets being used...

"This was a much cheaper option than staying at the Shore. I stayed here so I could walk to a Springsteen performance. The front desk staff were quite helpful, but otherwise the place was kind of sad. Breakfast was weak coffee, dried up scrambled eggs, and one type of sweet roll. It is fine if you don’t want to pay for other options. But if you have other options in same price range, consider them."

"The Room was Clean But there was A Cigarette smell in the room that didn't go away even though it is a smoke free place other then that it was clean pool was fun & well maintained the only thing was the smell of the cigarettes staff was very Helpful & let us check in early"

"This is a nice hotel, but it is over 100 years old. Don't expect it to look modern. That's part of the charm. The rooms are huge, with high ceilings. The food in the restaurants is great, especially the home made pizzas. There's a nice well stocked bar too. It was a nice play to stay. I really only have one complaint: They charged $90 for the parking, which is ridiculous. There is parking locally for far less, if I had known how bad they would gouge me, I would never have paid that."

"Convenient location. Pleasant staff. Clean rooms. Kitchen cabinets and furniture could use an update. Breakfast was fair (nothing compared to the Hampton Inn's breakfasts). Overall, a nice place to stay close to Long Branch beach."

"Liz, Ashley and the entire staff at The Inn were excellent and made us feel so comfortable and welcome! Breakfast was delicious and we could have asked for a better stay. Upon waking up to a plumbing issue, Ashley and her staff were right on it and even moved us to a suite to complete our stay. We will definitely be staying here again and this Inn and the Marilyn, their sister property, will always be our first choice!"

"Convenient to Red Bank NJ, 50 min to ERW, access to NJ transit station Red Bank to NYC or ferry service. Continental Breakfast available, bar service in PM. Very clean property, no overnight parking fee."

"I am not a mean spirited person nor am I fussy. But I travel all the time and I grew up in Ocean Grove and my night at The Quaker Inn off season even was not good. For $300 my friend and I got a tiny room with two single beds, no view. When I asked for an upgrade, I got a lame excuse even though the place was empty. There was no hot water for the morning shower; no nice amenities like good soap or shampoos. Thin towels, a cheap blanket. No breakfast. One of those terrible capsule coffee...

"We had an amazing stay at the Beachliner, the breakfast was delicious! Amazing location close to the boardwalk, and very close to Asbury Park. Clear communication with the staff and easy access to the building and room. The room was very clean and cozy. Be aware that there are steep narrow stairs that may not accommodate those with mobility issues. Definitely would stay here again!"
