"The description wotif offered was incorrect. The page describes a distance of 15km from the airport, but the road to get there is 80km (more than an hour by taxi) around the bay. Arriving in the evening there was no choice but to take a cab both ways, costing more than $500. Extremely disappointing webservice x wotif. The room was fine, and the owner very apologetic, telling me he has asked multiple times to see the entry corrected and clarified but the wotif callcentre staff hadn't been able...

"An amazing get away while still being in Auckland. Rachel is a wonderful host, and the bach itself is cozy, comfortable and well worth the drive. It feels like you're a world away from civilization, but a 10-minute drive gets you into the local town. Close to walks and beaches, it is a great spot to do a whole lotta nothing. Easy instructions to get to the bach and for the house itself, and a nice set up so you can sit and watch the trees. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a...

"Such an excellent place to spend a night away. It had everything we needed and despite only being a quick drive to the city, it felt like a different world. We loved lighting the fireplace and it also meant the house stayed cosy all night and into the following morning. The place was clean, comfortable and we loved the extra attention to details. Meeting the animals was an added bonus! Vaughan was a great host, excellent communication and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!"
