"Upon arrival Marie greeted us at the door and was very welcoming to her home. It is a split level apartment above Marie’s half of the home but there are several notes telling you not to worry about noise which was very nice and put us at ease (not that we were planning to get rowdy but we didn’t want to disturb Marie). Such a beautiful home overall and everything was well tended to and felt like home away from home. Highly recommend!!"

"Lois greeted me and was very welcoming, showed me some of Paul’s woodwork and showed me around the cabin and grounds. It was extremely peaceful and cozy, very close to bigelow and flagstaff, and a nice fire pit out back, cool outdoor kitchen and comfy bed. I was happy and grateful. "

"I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the cabin was! I read the positive reviews and felt comfortable staying there but didn’t realize how spacious and homey the cabin would feel! The beds were super comfortable, having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a pleasant surprise, and the quietness of the entire resort area was fantastic. Super spread out. Renting canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards was really easy. The cabin got a little warm during the day but the three box fans were a big help."

"Our stay at Sunset Cabin was an escape to paradise! The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and perfect for a romantic getaway. From the gorgeous views of the lake, night time fire pits, and many things to do in Rangeley we did not want to leave! Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. "We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!"
