"My family and friends had a wonderful stay in this home on the hill. The house was very clean and accommodating. The outdoor pavilion space with jacuzzi and fire pit was beautiful overlooking the pond and mountains. Communication with the property manager was excellent too. We really enjoyed this getaway with close proximity to hiking trails and activities in Watkins Glen. "

"Its the cabin I've been searching for for years, Its very clean and the outside environment is very spacious. The outside bathroom was very clean. It does have solar powered lights but they dont last forever so bring lanterns, There is no running water so plan for that, There was evidence of mice so if that creeps you out then dont rent. "The Retreat was exactly that for me and my family; a place to decompress from our busy lives and jobs. The surrounding forest and silence worked perfectly for us. "My family and I had an amazing time at The Young Estate! Coming from the city this was exactly what we needed to unwind and to have such a great family bonding time. It was the first time our twelve and nine years old were not on their phone! "When we arrived to the lake house after our 12 hour road trip from NC, it was awesome to see the excitement from my family as we arrived while everyone checked out the property.We all were comfortable in the home. "House was neat and tidy - much bigger than impression from photos. Grounds are beautiful with mountain views. Amy was very responsive. Small issue with shower, but was addressed. Was perfect for our family with young children and close to beautiful water hikes and beaches. Would recommend!"

"I’ve stayed at this beautiful house 3 times for a reason. It’s clean and comfortable and beautiful. Lisa is very kind and will make sure you are happy with your stay.One thing that always strikes me is the familiar feeling you get when you walk in the door. "The location was very nice being close to everything . It was kept clean. Definitely not toddler or baby friendly with all of the floor decorations throughout and stairs to get up and into the unit but we made it work. We did cook a couple times which worked out well for what was supplied to cook with. The third bedroom is only a twin blow up mattress not a queen futon . Overall would definitely stay again "

"We stayed with kids and extended family (8 in total) for a weekend when I was running a marathon at Letchworth State Park. The place was clean, well organized and very spacious. The outdoor fire pit was super fun and the kids loved the game room and creek running through the back."
