"The property and owner were very gracious. We had an unfortunate travel delay with a flight cancelation and rented a car to drive in but arrived very late (very early) at 3:30 am. Our challenge: it’s a 2nd floor apartment with very narrow and steep staircase and we had a ton of luggage since this was the end of a lengthy visit to Italy. The apartment, part of a noble palace built in the 1500s is a bit decrepit but everything works well and it is in the middle of the oldest “authentic” quarter of modern Naples.
