Filthy Pool, Neglected Backyard, and Unresponsive Host

We were extremely disappointed with our stay. The listing looked great online, but the reality was far from it. The pool was disgusting — murky water, debris floating on the surface, and clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. The backyard was just as bad: overgrown and dirty furniture. To make matters worse, the host was unresponsive. We reached out about the condition of the property, hoping they would send someone to clean or at least acknowledge the issue, but received no response until the afternoon before our stay ended. I tried by phone the first day and was met with a voicemail that stated, “I don’t really answer this phone, so send a text message.” Oddly weird for a host to provide numbers that aren’t responsive. I then sent a text through VRBO and to the number provided and nothing. I tried to be understanding and resolve matters being a multi property owner myself before leaving a review but was falsely accused of bribing. The host was not fazed by a bad review as she said, “she would just have it removed.” We booked this place specifically for the outdoor amenities, and it ended up being a complete waste. Other than that, the location of the house was perfect. Interior of the house was nice and met the rest of our needs.

Austin is great. The property was a challenge for 15 people.

The house was large; the pool and hot tub great; and Austin provided a great place to do Thanksgiving with the family. As all of the showers and bathtubs are attached to bedrooms on the second floor, shower scheduling became the primary morning discussion and logistical challenge. For those in lower floor and main floor bedrooms showering was an event every day.

Great place for group getaway

Great neighborhood, good house for outdoor living and BBQs by the pool. Only challenge was the amount of showers compared to number of guests. But otherwise, awesome place.

Cute house in a cute neighborhood

This house was able to accommodate all of our guests due to all of the sleeping options. Very spacious and in a cute neighborhood. It was about an 8-10 minute Uber to downtown area. The only thing was the cleaners did not clean one of the showers and it got pretty dirty from the previous guest. The owner of the house was great and offered to have them come back and clean it; however, we just ended up all using the other 2 showers instead.

Awesome House for Large Group!

We loved our stay at this house in Austin. There was plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our group of friends and family to sleep and hang out comfortably. We loved hanging out at the pool, especially in the hot summer days! The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. The option to check in late for a few was also appreciated! We'd love to come back in Austin and stay here again.

Great group home

Our group had a great stay at this house! The beds were very comfy, the pool was extremely refreshing (and mostly in the shade which is nice for the hot summer days), and there was plenty of space for our group. Be mindful the kitchen doesn’t have some things that would be useful (sheet pans, olive oil, etc.) so just account for this while grocery shopping for your stay. Plenty of linens and towels, and even towels for the pool. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Spot for a Weekend Girls Trip

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The space is beautiful and well-appointed. We had the perfect amount of space for our large group between ample bedrooms, a spacious living and dining room for gathering, and plenty of space to lounge in and by the pool. It is situated in a nice quiet neighborhood which made for a relaxing place for hanging out and taking walks around the neighborhood. The house is a quick drive to great restaurants, downtown, and the airport. The pool is nicely shaded, making it the perfect place to retreat from the Austin heat. Our communications with the hosts were great! We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend the home!

Perfect Weekend in Austin

This is the perfect house for our bachelorette party. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms for 12 girls to use & get ready. The pool was a must have for the 100 degree weekend we had. They even sent a pool cleaner mid-stay to ensure it was up to shape. There was plenty of room in the living area for us to all have dinner together and gather. The location was great, a short Uber ride into downtown and only 15 mins from the airport. It is in a quiet neighborhood for when we wanted to retreat back to a peaceful environment after the festivities of 6th street. The kitchen had most the necessities for basic cooking; we were a little unfamiliar with the induction stove & oven, but we figured it out. Both hosts, Sarah and Moyra were on a text chain with me and responsive when I needed something/ had a question! Would highly recommend!

Perfect house for big groups!

We stayed at Moya’s property with a big group of friends including young kids and it was perfect! Everything is well stocked and spaced out and Moya and Sarah were so helpful and responsive. They were able to get us into the property early on our check in day which really helped with coordinating everyone! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend, we can’t wait to come back!!

Bachelorette Party Weekend

We had an amazing stay! We were very impressed with the house. It was clean and had plenty of room for 12 girls. Moya and Sarah were very easy to get in touch with and accommodating. We had an issue with the water pressure in the showers the first day and a half and they sent someone to look into it and fix it. The house was in a great location too!

We had a work trip for this week with our HR team. The house was perfect and the back deck and pool are beautiful. The property manager was extremely helpful and communicated via text the whole time. She even took care of a package that was delivered to one of our team members while we were out for us. Definitely recommend!

Amazing home & location

This home was absolutely perfect for our girls trip. It was very clean and spacious, beautifully styled and decorated, and in a perfect Austin location. The pool and hot tub are lovely, and we were lucky to have great weather. Sarah and Moya are wonderful hosts and they were very responsive. We highly recommend this property for a group stay!
