Had our wedding here this past weekend and it was a great setup for what we needed. The host was absolutely great at accommodating us and our event and we worked through some misunderstandings and I’m thankful for that! What initially drew us to the property was that it had a small putting green for our guests and family to use. We were disappointed to find out that the ground has shifted in the area to where none of the holes sit flush so the balls wouldn’t go in. The balls couldn’t go into the holes because the cups weren’t sitting flush with the turf. Also, the bathrooms especially in the master room and down stairs near the kitchen were visibly dirty. Shoe prints were on the floor and didn’t really want to walk barefoot in there. Our towels were also dirty so we had to wash them again before using them. There were parts of the deck where the boards stuck out so guests would trip over them constantly. No remote could be found for the mini split in the loft area and it was super hot up there. The house is beautiful in the pictures but it can use alot of touching up and maintenance. It felt pretty unclean and it seemed obvious because all they had was a vacuum and no other cleaning supplies. I was hoping it would be better considering it’s a popular space for events. Overall the layout was great for large parties to sleep and the view was beautiful. Thank you for allowing us to have our wedding there.
