Downtown Casa - SXSW central, close to it all, neighborhood feel

Stay within walking distance of the convention center, downtown and E 6th St., Rainey St., and town lake. Our home has the feel of neighborhood living (wonderful light, tall ceilings, comfy beds, big kitchen, cozy furniture, well lit porch sitting), yet the location of all the downtown, near eastside amenities. We welcome couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

Space
The space is 2 bedroom with 2 full bathrooms. All ceilings are vaulted with an open concept for the living, dining, and kitchen. The porch is well lit and great for night cap. The kitchen is fully equipped for family meal prep, but don't miss out on the neighborhood fare (Laundarette, Buffalina, Emmer and Rye, G'Raj Mahal). The space features central heat and air with laundry facilities. Grab a tagerine of off one of our many fruit trees. This home is over a 100 years old so it has its quirks, but we have done a great job in making it a wonderful place to live.

Neighborhood overview
With plenty of large trees and a walkable feel, there is so much to do. The lake is a 5 minute walk. E 6th and Rainey are 5 mins away. Downtown is 15 mins.

Getting around
There are bike rental stations all over town. Grab a bike at East Cycles for $30/day. While you are there, grab a coffee at Flat Track. It's some of the best coffee in town.

Other things to note
There are is a washer and dryer for use as you need. This Airbnb is registered and regulated by the City of Austin and State of Texas.
