Welcome to The Cabin on Lake Travis from iTrip Austin!

For a memorable and fun-filled vacation, complete with hiking, dock-jumping, fishing, and boating in a secluded cove, plan your escape to this waterfront cabin with a private deck that sits just steps away from the South Shore of Lake Travis! This is a favorite swimming cove for many past guests, see why people return to this rental year after year. Now is the perfect time to be at the lake!

The property includes a shared dock with boat access and swimming in Lake Travis.

Although once part of Robin's Nest Bed and Breakfast, this Lake Cabin has now transitioned to a short-term rental and is the perfect vacation rental for couples or small groups looking to escape city life! If your group is a bit larger ask us about the Cottage which is next door. We can bundle several properties together for your group. Life is better at the lake.

-King size bed in a tastefully decorated, open-planned bedroom and living space.
-Queen sleeper-sofa
-Private patio that can be accessed through both rooms in the cabin; a peaceful spot to start - and end - your day.

-Wifi, clothes washer/dryer, television.
-Access to a common area (that is shared with one other rental property "the Cottage" that can be rented with the Cabin if you are traveling in a large group)
Common area includes:
-Large yard with fire pit, cowboy pool and hammock.
-Access to 100 feet of Lake Travis shoreline, including boat dock that is loaded with lake toys,(don't forget your fishing poles)!

Walking distance to the Sundancer Grill for a meal on the water!

If you’ve had your fun in the sun and are needing a night on the town, hop in the car and you can keep it weird in Downtown Austin - just 20 miles away! The surrounding Texas Hill Country also offers plenty of shops, restaurants, wineries, and hikes for you to indulge in.

This cozy cabin on Lake Travis accommodates 4 people (no more) and is the ideal retreat for you to escape the heat, so what are you waiting for?

Couldn’t of asked for a more relaxing time with my son who is 12. We were on walking distance to Sundancegrill. Great food and cocktails. The dock was so nice and clean . All the water toys were available to use. My son jumped over the dock all day. We made friends in the cove that had rented other properties. We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for sharing your property with us ☀️

We were very pleased with renting this cottage for our anniversary. The cottage was very neat and clean. Has all the amenities of home! Kitchen was stocked with appliances etc. Manager was very helpful and prompt with any questions/needs that we had. Nice view of the lake. Restaurant and boat dock were within walking distance. Had stocked fire pit and deck area. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely rent again!

Not as nice as photos create impression. Very small and plain and limited view of water. The bed was comfortable and house was clean and the AC worked great. If just need a place to crash and don’t plan to spend a lot of time there should be fine. However, would probably get more for your money if you spent the same money for a hotel.

Everything was fine except two areas: the eating utensils were very limited....not enough and we were a small group of two. The second issue was that there were baby roaches were climbing out of the sink and flies were inside the rooms from the first moment we entered the cabin.

I booked for a client in the area who had been displaced due to some water damage. Amy was very accommodating and was quick to resolve any issues that the client had during their stay. She was very thoughtful when reaching out to me in regards to the guest, and if I ever have a displaced client in the area there again, I will be quick to jump on her rentals! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay very much. You would have never known this place endured 3ft of water during the Fall 2018 flood. Everything we could have wanted was provided and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and private. We may come back when it’s warmer in the summertime.

We had a great time relaxing, fishing off the dock, and enjoying the lake. Cabin is very comfortable and nicely decorated. We ate in or walked to the Sundancer grill for dinner or had numerous restaurant options in the area. About 30 min drive to Austin to check out the sites there. Overall a great trip!

My husband and I needed a relaxing weekend away from Dallas. This cabin was perfect. Clean, well stocked comfortable bed and seating area. It was a perfect place for us to relax. We were very surprised by the dock and the fact that you can just jump off it and take a swim in lake Travis where the water was clear and fresh. It is next door to the marina and you can walk to it for a drink or lunch/dinner food was good. Looking for more to do there are plenty of restaurants and shops on the main road and just a short drive from the cabin. There is a lovely deck and yard with lots of trees to sit and enjoy a cocktail. We highly recommend the cabin it has everything you need for a nice relaxing and enjoyable stay. Book it today!!!

Property and access to the cove are very pretty with all the flowers and antique yard art. Owners are very friendly and had a nice conversation with Bubba and Robin. Our Cabin was cute with antique furniture, galley kitchen with steps down to dining table bed & living area, bathroom could use a removeable showerhead as water pressure was a bit low, but overall has an I'm on a boat kinda feel. Sundancer grill next door has Excellent food and drinks, and the Marina area with all the sail boats is very nice and relaxing. We didn't bring a boat but they accommodate that well as well as being pet friendly We had a very relaxing weekend and would stay again. Thanks so much ☺️

We loved staying at the Cabin for our staycation! Peaceful and quiet, just enough space for us and our dog. Super comfortable bed, great food within walking distance, wonderful park a short drive around the other side of the cove. Will definitely be returning!
