Relaxing with an awesome view
Location was awesome. Lake amenities and toys made the trip and lake experience an unforgettable experience for my 3 young boys. The house was clean and beds were very comfortable. It was perfect for our family. We will be back!

Just what we needed!!
The whole process of renting was painless. Loved the house and the layout. Looking out on to the water the minute you walk in was breathtaking. Everything was very clean and organized. Peaceful and quiet. Saved it to my favorites. Plan to come again!!

Great location, comfortable for small family
Location was great. Peaceful setting right on the water. Could use some overall updating and better dishes/cups/cutlery, but kitchen was well enough stocked for a short stay. Patio fans didn't work for us and there were no trash bags left, a quick text / response to and from the mgmt company made them aware.

Scenic, Relaxing “Shack”.

Great property
Only had 2 issues 1) listing says it sleeps 8 but it’s 2 bedrooms so don’t recommend for people who want privacy. 2) AC keep resetting to upper 70s which in the Texas heat was quite annoying. Otherwise great location near lake Austin. Nice and clean.

Still Great in October
Short Fall 2021 visit to this quaint area, loved every bit of it and highly recommend. We rented a boat from a local business and met them at the marina to get it for about 4 hours. The property was quiet, pleasant, beautiful, and well kept. Also enjoyed the kayak, plenty of life jackets available as well! The bar down the street was also a good spot to grab drinks and food while catching some Sunday/Monday night football! Loved seeing the deer, ducks, squirrels, fish, and even other boaters show off weight boarding skills! Can’t wait to return to this beautiful area, clean environment!

Our 4th stay
This is a wonderful place for a small family group, and of course, a boat. We pretty much stay in the boat most of the day, but the house is nice. Sofa couch, not so nice. Put the mattress on the floor but still not comfortable. This was the first time we had used that bed, but the others are fine. Hopefully they saw my note about needing a new coffee pot. Will rent again for sure.

Amazing views
The house was perfect, just as described but better In person. Easy water access, great swimming right off the dock with amazing views of 20 million dollar homes on the mountain top. Very relaxing and cozy, we definitely will be back.

Nice lake life
Property was accurate, not many amenities for using the kitchen, not even any salt. I didn’t want to stock up on my dime for a 4 day stay, and it didn’t feel very clean.

Great vibe, quiet neighborhood, relaxing setting
The house was easy to find, easy to get into, the property management sent clear communications about check-in, door codes, wi-fi, etc. The layout of the house is interesting but totally comfortable. Obviously, you're there to enjoy the outdoors and lakeside if you get this house; you're not there for the inside. I would say that the cleaning fee is high given the space - what are they cleaning? It's a small space. Also, be sure to bring EVERYTHING you need. There is a Keurig and a regular coffee pot, but there wasn't even coffee for the Keurig so bring all the goodies you need.

Girls weekend
House is super cute and was really clean. You couldn't be any closer to the water! I appreciated the communication with the local property manager. We had an issue with one of the bathrooms and maintenance was there very quickly! Main thing to note on this home is it says sleeps 8. This is definitely not for 8 adults. They are counting two people in a double bed which definitely doesn't work for grown adults. And one of the double beds is the pull out couch in the living room and while it's a beautiful view there are no curtains on the windows at all in there. So it's very bright in the morning .

Owners weren't responsive when we said the light in the kitchen didn’t work. Also, they Advertised they had a paddle board, but it was broken. The house was on the river, so it was a beautiful venue. Everything else was fine.

Weekend at the Lake
Great location on Lake Austin! Our family really enjoyed the view and all the water toys...paddle board, kayak, lily pad, and canoe! We loved the ducks and sitting by the chimenea. The house was open with a beautiful view and clean. I think better quality and more paper products as well as trash bags would be have been helpful. Also, there were not sheets or extra pillows for the fold out couch - we only had use of a blanket. These are easy fixes and would not preclude us from reserving this home again. Most hotels and other vacation homes we have previously stayed in have a check out time at 11 am. I am not sure why the check out is so early - but it feels like the weekend was cut a bit short and we had to hustle in the morning to be out by 10 am.

Amazing
I could not wait to review this property! It was such a great place. The location was excellent. The house was super clean and well stocked. There was nothing we needed or wanted that was not there. We docked our boat in front of the house. There were plenty of life jackets, a kayak, stand up paddle board, Lilly pad and inflatable floats. We grilled every night on the gas grill. We hopped on boat in the morning and drove down to SkiShore for breakfast tacos on the water. We can’t wait to rent the place again.

Great COVID getaway
The property looks just as it does in the picture. You are actually closer to the water though, which is a good thing. It’s a very quiet neighborhood, and it was peaceful to sit out listen to the water and fish off of the dock. It provided a great COVID getaway and change of scenary.

Great property but expensive for what it is
The location and lakefront/dock are great! The house is small but nice. My complaints are: expensive for size, kitchen is very poorly stocked with old cookware, and it's wrong that they don't disclose that the boat dock is being rented out and there will be people coming and going through the backyard to the dock which limits your privacy.

Great Location on Lake Austin!
This home’s location is prime on Lake Austin. The owners live right next door so they are involved with your stay. The back deck is a great place to hang out and enjoy family.

Perfect getaway and location
This was a perfect getaway for us and a great location on Lake Austin to use our boat. The house was really nice inside. We brought our own lawn chairs and sat on the dock for morning coffee and afternoon drinks. We were there during the week and the boat traffic was minimal which really made it nice. Plan on staying there again sometime. We parked our boat trailer on the concrete pad at the street which worked out perfectly.

weekend boating trip
I only gave this property 3 stars because of the difficulty with the boat. If you only want to rent a property to sit on the beautiful deck and watch the boats, this is a great property. I asked about the nearest boat ramp. I was referred to Lake Travis. There is a boat ramp about 5 houses down from this property, but you won't get access. The owner then stated that the boat slip is rented for the year. My fault for not asking before renting the property. We had to go out to buy a bigger anchor. Because of the tremendous amount of constant boat wake, we couldn't tie our ski boat up to the dock. If you want to ski, get up at 5 am and you'll have great water. The property was clean and comfortable. The deck area was really nice. Lake Austin has become a very busy lake for a weekend trip.

Great Place
This home was just as advertised and pictured. It is a bit further from Austin city center than some might like, but if you travel outside of rush hours, it is only 30 minutes or so to capitol. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels, etc in bathrooms. We did not use the water as it was Feb, but it was a very nice view out the back.
