The airy open-plan living room is simply, yet stylishly furnished with a sofa, smart TV and a dining table for 4. The modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven and fridge/freezer. A glass door leads directly to a private terrace where guests can relax and enjoy the sea air.

The communal garden has a seating area as well as an outdoor kitchen, with a gas hob, sink, BBQ and dining table.

Bedroom: The master bedroom, which has French windows out to the garden, has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

The town of Augusta (15 minutes) is a popular holiday destination. It has a rich history with many impressive Baroque buildings hidden away in its winding streets and a weekly market (every Thursday) where you can pick up the best and freshest local ingredients. Its beautiful beaches are well-known in the region.

The city of Catania is 30 minutes away. It makes a fascinating day out. There are many historic sites from a Roman amphitheatre to the Norman cathedral and Baroque palaces. The city is also famous for its delicious food, with many local restaurants serving Sicilian specialities and wonderful seafood. Unique to Catania are the “cioscu”, little kiosks all over the city serving refreshments in the hot summer months.

Catania’s International Airport is just a 30-minute drive from the apartment.
