Hobson Quay sits in Auckland`s CBD, five minutes on foot from the Viaduct Harbour waterfront. That short walk puts you at the entrance to one of Auckland`s most celebrated dining and entertainment precincts — Baduzzi, Hello Beasty, Giraffe, and the full sweep of Viaduct waterfront dining and bars. The Auckland Ferry Terminal is close for Waiheke Island and Hauraki Gulf services. Commercial Bay`s flagship retail and dining complex and Britomart`s cobblestoned laneways are within easy reach.

The Sky Tower and SkyCity are a short walk from the building. The Auckland Art Gallery, Albert Park, and the University of Auckland campus are close by. Queen Street`s shopping, cafés, and dining run from near the building down to the waterfront. Karangahape Road`s creative dining and bar scene is easily accessible. This is a genuinely central CBD address — everything is close, and the five-minute walk to the waterfront means you get the proximity without the price premium of a waterfront-facing apartment.

To ensure a smooth arrival, we ask all guests to complete a short online pre-check-in form and upload a valid government-issued photo ID before arriving — this takes just a couple of minutes.

This is a non-smoking, no-vaping property throughout — including balconies and all common areas. No parties or events. Quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Check-in is from 3:00 PM and checkout is by 10:00 AM.

The kitchen in this studio does not have an oven — it is equipped with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and stovetop essentials for easy self-catering. Guests planning on cooking full oven meals should be aware of this before booking.

Free secure parking is included — height limit 1.95m. Please check your vehicle measurements before booking if you plan to use the car park.

The Murphy bed folds away to give the living area full use during the day. It is comfortable and well-appointed, and the studio is well-suited to guests who appreciate a smart, space-efficient layout.
We kindly ask all guests to help us maintain the peaceful, high-standard environment of this home by following a few simple rules:

A valid photo ID, email address, and phone number are required prior to check-in.

Please respect our no-party policy and observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Smoking, vaping, or drug use is not permitted inside the suite or anywhere in the apartment, building, complex or balcony.

In the rare case of a noise complaint or evidence of smoking, an additional fee of up to NZD $500 may apply.

Check in available after 3pm through lock box key collection. Lock boxes are located a short distance away, full details will be sent prior to arrival. We advise collecting the keys on your way to the apartment, if coming to the city via taxi or UBER, ask the taxi to wait a second while you collect the key. The walk to the apartment from the lock box is not far, but no one wants to walk in the city with suitcases!
