Summary:
Moa Luxe is a modern, spacious property set between Oneroa and Blackpool beaches, offering two well designed homes with warm timber interiors, generous outdoor living, and a peaceful outlook toward native bush and the sea. Flexible and comfortable, it suits families or small groups who want space to spread out while staying close to the village and beaches
The Space:
Moa Luxe combines two self contained dwellings, the main house and Moa Runga, arranged to give guests the option of staying together while still enjoying privacy and separation.
The main house is centred around two connected living areas with timber ceilings, large windows, and sliding doors that open directly to the deck. These spaces work well for shared meals, relaxed afternoons, and time together in the evenings. The open plan layout links the living areas with the dining space and a modern, fully equipped kitchen, making the house practical for everyday holiday use. Outside, the deck offers sheltered seating with a calm outlook across the surrounding landscape.
Two bedrooms are located in the main house. The master bedroom includes its own ensuite and sits on the main level, while the second bedroom is positioned downstairs and opens toward greenery. Both rooms receive good natural light and are set up as comfortable spaces to return to after a day out. The bathrooms in the main house are finished in a clean, contemporary style.
Moa Runga sits a short distance uphill from the main house and functions as a fully independent studio. It offers a bright, open layout with a king bed, its own bathroom, and a private deck. Surrounded by native planting, it provides a quiet retreat that works well for grandparents, another couple, or guests wanting extra independence while still being part of the group.
Together, the two dwellings create a flexible setup that supports shared time as well as individual space, without the property feeling complicated or formal.

The Neighborhood:
Moa Luxe is well located between Oneroa Village and Blackpool Beach, giving guests easy access to beaches, cafés, and everyday amenities while remaining in a quieter residential setting.
Oneroa Village is the island’s main hub and offers a wide range of dining and shopping options. Daytime favourites include Wai Kitchen for brunch and lunch, Akito for modern, plant focused dishes, and Solar Eating House for relaxed meals in a sunny garden setting. For something simple near the beach, The Local provides casual food and coffee.
In the evening, The Oyster Inn is a long standing local favourite for seafood and classic island dining, while Fenice offers reliable Italian dishes in the heart of the village.
The property is also well positioned for vineyard visits. Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant and Cable Bay are both close by and popular for long lunches with harbour views. For a more relaxed option, The Heke offers casual food, craft beer, and an open garden setting.
Getting Around:
The nearest bus services run through Oneroa Village and connect to the Matiatia passenger ferry, Palm Beach, and Onetangi. Buses stop near major vineyards along the way, including The Heke, making it easy to explore the island without driving.
For guests with a car, parking is available on site and access to Oneroa, Blackpool, and the island’s main routes is straightforward. Taxis, rental cars, e bikes, and scooters are also available on Waiheke.
Other Things to Note:
The third bedroom is located in a separate standalone villa, Moa Runga, and is not internally connected to the main house.
The property runs on rainwater tanks, as is standard on Waiheke Island, so guests are asked to use water thoughtfully during their stay.
Minimum stay requirements apply. Bookings require a minimum of seven nights from mid December to mid January, three nights during the remainder of January and on holiday weekends, and two nights at all other times.
