Miro Magic - Steps to Palm Beach

Miro Magic is a relaxed, well set up beach house just steps from the white sand of Palm Beach. Designed for easy family holidays, it’s the kind of place where beach days start at the gate and end on the deck, with space for kids, boards, and simple time together by the sea.



The Space:

Miro Magic is arranged across two levels and works best for families or mixed groups who want a straightforward, beach focused stay. The main living area sits upstairs and is light, open, and practical, with the kitchen, dining, and lounge sharing one easy space. Large doors open onto a wraparound deck where outdoor seating, a BBQ, and sea breezes make it easy to spend most of the day outside.



The kitchen is well equipped for holiday cooking and suits everything from quick breakfasts to shared dinners after the beach. The indoor living area is comfortable and uncluttered, giving everyone space to relax without the house feeling formal.



On the main level, there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen bed, while the second includes a bunk bed with a pull out trundler, ideal for children. The third bedroom is located downstairs and is accessed externally. It features a single over double bunk bed and its own half bathroom, making it a good option for older kids or guests who want a bit of separation. An outdoor shower sits beside this room, perfect for rinsing off after swimming or beach days.



The layout is simple and functional, designed for guests who plan to spend their time outside and want a comfortable base close to the sand.

Bedroom 3: single bunk over double bunk bed, plus 1 single bed - this room is only accessed externally.

Guest Access:

Guests have full private use of the house, decks, and outdoor areas.



Check in is from 2:00 pm and check out is by 10:30 am. Early check in or late check out may be available for an additional fee and will be confirmed closer to your stay. These options cannot be offered when there is a same day guest changeover.



The Neighborhood:

Miro Magic sits directly above Palm Beach, one of Waiheke’s most popular swimming beaches. The bay is sheltered, family friendly, and well suited to boogie boarding, swimming, and long beach days. A playground sits beside the beach, making it especially easy for families travelling with children.



The area is also well placed for exploring the island. Nearby vineyards include Casita Miro, Stonyridge Vineyard, Tantalus Estate, Mudbrick Vineyard & Restaurant, and Cable Bay, all within a short drive.



For supplies and everyday needs, Ostend is close by with supermarkets, bakeries, and local shops, including the popular Saturday market. Families often enjoy nearby attractions such as EcoZip Adventures and the island’s coastal walking tracks. For relaxed meals, cafés and casual dining options are spread across Palm Beach, Oneroa, and Ostend.



Getting Around:

The closest bus stop is a short walk from the property. Buses run from Onetangi and Palm Beach through Oneroa and continue to the Matiatia passenger ferry, stopping near major vineyards along the way, including The Heke Brewery. This makes it easy to explore the island without driving.



If you bring a car, parking is available at the property and most destinations, including beaches, vineyards, shops, and the ferry, are within a short drive. Taxis operate across Waiheke, though they can be expensive during peak times.



Other Things to Note:

The property runs on rainwater tanks, as is standard on Waiheke Island, so guests are asked to use water thoughtfully during their stay.

There is 1 fan upstairs and 1 fan and a dehumidifier downstairs.



Pets are allowed on request only and must be approved prior to booking.



Minimum stay requirements apply. Bookings require a minimum of seven nights from mid December to the end of January, three nights on holiday weekends, and two nights at all other times.
