Amazing Grace Apartment with Heatpump and Carpark

This apartment is located in the brand new Grace Apartments and has a sunny open plan kitchen & living area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and car park with convenient lift access to your door.

Here are 3 things people love about our apartment:

1. The views. From the apartment you'll look west and have views of Western Park, Victoria Park, and the tree lined suburb of Freemans Bay. The shared rooftop space has expansive views of the harbour and the city.

2. The location is simply outstanding. Grace Victoria Quarter is located little more than a stone's throw away from the hustle and the bustle of the central city. You have cafes and restaurants on your doorstep, and it's just a short 5-15 minute walk to Wynyard Quarter, Ponsonby and much of the CBD.

3. High ceilings and an abundance of natural light through the west-facing floor-to-ceiling ranch sliders make this a light and airy, spacious apartment. Guests frequently mention the beautiful views.

Here are 3 things to consider before renting our apartment:

1. The apartment is in a residential area and close-knit community, so no parties are permitted in the apartment at all times during your stay. This applies to all residents, so ensures you will have a peaceful and quiet stay yourself.

2. The apartment building is located near the motorway. Despite double glazing, you'll still hear the gentle hum of the traffic. This hasn't been a problem for our previous guests, however we provide complimentary 3M E-A-R Classic ear plugs (Noise Reduction Rating of 29 dB) if you notice the noise.

3. Even though private and elevated, the apartment is located in a central city neighbourhood, so you will be surrounded by buildings and other residents. That’s not a downside, since the neighbours are generally a very considerate group of people, but you will be aware of their presence on occasion. Most people actually love it, since you will have a chance to meet locals and quickly strike up a conversation. Live like a local amongst locals and you will love your stay. Living in a close-knit community requires some basic rules to make things easier. We ask that you abide by these rules and that you are a considerate neighbour. By all means, live and enjoy yourself, just be mindful of noise and loud music both inside and out and you’ll have a fabulous time.

We have furnished this apartment with new modern contemporary furniture.

KITCHEN

Our fully equipped kitchen includes chef-quality stainless steel gourmet cookware, and good quality knives. We've supplied a Nespresso machine and milk frother for coffee aficionados, and a classic teapot so you can brew the perfect cup of tea.

LOUNGE

Sit back and relax in style on the comfortable sofa while watching Netflix on the 4K Smart TV. The wifi is connected to an unlimited high-speed internet connection.

BEDROOMS

Both bedrooms are roughly the same size. The master bedroom has a queen bed, ensuite and fantastic views. The second bedroom has a super king size bed (that can be split into two long singles on request).

All beds come with wool all-seasons duvets, high thread count sheets and a selection of soft, medium, hard and feather pillows. The closets are stocked with clothes hangers.

We can split the super king bed into two long single beds (203cm long x 91cm wide) which can provide an option for good friends or children.

THE VIEW

The lounge and master bedroom offers expansive views. The comfortable outdoor sofa on the balcony offers a great spot to relax in the afternoon.

LAUNDRY

The laundry includes both a washing machine and a dryer, and we supply washing powder.

GETTING AROUND

Our place is less than a 15 minutes walk or a $5-10 Uber ride to much of the central city, including Westhaven, Wynyard Quarter, Viaduct Harbour, Queen St, and Ponsonby.

If you want to catch a bus, the CityLink, InnerLink and OuterLink all have stops nearby.

PARKING

Free secure parking for is provided in the car park space located below the apartment building. There is direct access to the apartment via lift (no stair climbing required)

There are bicycle racks located in the car park.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Regular cleaning. If you are staying for a few weeks, perhaps you would like to arrange regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning or a one-off additional clean. The cost is $251/visit for a clean and linen change, and $167/visit for a standard clean (no linen change). You can either arrange this in advance, or while you are staying.

Portacot (additional $6/day). We can provide Jolly Jumper Roma 2-in-1 portacots that have both bassinet and cot level. This model has passed safety tests and is recommended by Consumer NZ. We'll also provide cots sheets and blankets.

Split bed (one off $25). We can split the super king size bed into two long single beds.

Situated within the historic Victoria Quarter precinct, Grace offers some of
Auckland’s finest parks, shops and restaurants right on its doorstep. The CBD,
motorway system and the public transport network are all easily accessible.

Grace offers its residents an extension of their home with a breathtaking
Resident Rooftop Retreat, with 360 degree views across Auckland. Enjoy the sunset from Grace’s magnificent outdoor rooftop.

The building wraps around a lush Secret Garden, offering green outlooks from
many apartments.

We've created a comprehensive online guidebook of local attractions that we will send you a link to after you book.
You must have at least one Airbnb profile photo that clearly shows your face, and you must have Airbnb verified Government ID.

Quiet time after 10 pm.

You will be allocated a dedicated car park that you are welcome to use for your entire stay. Electric vehicle charging is not possible from this car park.

For long-stay booking requests 27 nights or longer, we require that guests sia standard "New Zealand Residential Tenancy Agreement". This gives you the same protections as other tenants in New Zealand, and helps keep our insurance company and accountant happy. After you have booked, we'll send you a link to a document that you can electronically sign.

The apartment complex management operates a CCTV surveillance system. Cameras record activity in common areas, including the roads, underground car parks and recreation centre. The recordings may be used for enforcement of the body corporate rules, and may be supplied to the police if illegal activity is suspected.

The property's quiet hours are in place to ensure that you and our whole community can enjoy a restful night's sleep. We are dedicated to protecting our guests and neighbours from bothersome levels of noise. To ensure your comfort, our property has a Minut Point Smart Home Alarm system that monitors temperature, humidity, and volume level. This system will alert us if the fire alarm or CO2 alarm goes off, or if a loud party is held in or near our property. Airbnb requires we disclose that this is a surveillance device. Unlike other smart home devices, we are unable to hear or record any conversations and no video recordings ever take place. Please contact us if you have any questions about this system. Please note that tampering with this system is grounds for immediate termination of your stay without refund.

You are required to provide the following details, and you authorise us to pass it on to the apartment complex management.
1. The full names of all occupants who will be staying at our place both adults and children (for children please indicate ages).
2. A contact phone number of the primary occupant.
3. The licence plate(s) of all cars that will be parked in the car park.
