"We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Breath taking views, quiet and serene. We grilled, had a fire and tested out the sauna! There was plenty to do just outside, but inside were games and whatnot to keep you entertained. We HIGHLY recommend and hope to return!"

"This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing...

"Everything about this stay was wonderful. Our whole family was able to be together under one roof and there was plenty of space for all of us. Au Train beach was fun, only a short walk. The property owner/manager were wonderful and super kind & helpful.Would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"Sarah was available for us at all times. She answered all of our questions and was able to give us suggestions on things to do and places to go! We even wondered when she was ever able to sleep! Erie cabin was just enough for the two of us! We enjoyed watching the fishing excursion boats leaving and coming back with their catches. (Kimars resort offers fishing excursions on site, if you are interested in fishing). If we ever go back to the UP we will definitely be returning! "

"We loved the central location. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks provided were a nice perk. If you use them, just beware that you need to carry them to an access point. It is almost impossible to carry them down the hill. We had an issue when we used the numbered key pad to lock the door. "Had eveything we needed from hot tub to kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware to wifi. Private. Quiet. We grilled out, but didn't take advantage of the firepit. Lots of hiking trails, beaches, and falls.check out. Would totally stay again. "

"We had the best time during our stay! Cabin is comfortable, has every kitchen amenity you could wish for, & the free access to kayaks was a huge plus for us! All of the mattresses were super comfortable. Cindy was a great host & Poe, her dog, was the sweetest! The location can't be beat! We enjoyed kayaking the Au Train River, Brownstone Inn for dinner, Bay Furnace for rock hunting, Capt Ron's Whitefish truck in Munising is a must & Au Train Grocery has the best pasties! We hope to return next...

"Thank you, Foxhole! Our stay was incredible - the cabin had everything we needed. So many sleeping choices, fully-stocked kitchen and bathroom.We couldn't have asked for a better location. The beach is a 20 second walk away. The adjacent road is quiet at night. Easy to get to Marquette for groceries and shopping. Would stay again!!!"

"Very cute cottage that suited our needs perfectly. We cooked meals inside and on the grill outside. We could walk two blocks to Pictured Rocks Cruises and a short drive to more than 3 waterfalls. We could park right near the entrance and keep our shoes in foyer to keep sand out. There was a park within walking distance for the kids. We would stay again."
