"The home was amazing and had everything plus more that you could need. The decor is beachy and looks like it could be featured in a magazine. The beds & pillows were so comfortable. "Great property and location. Peaceful and quiet...but plenty to do if you enjoy local beaches and landmarks. Oscoda has some nice restuarants and great beaches...and lots of cool sites just south in Tawas. Able to cook dinner and enjoy the deck over-looking the river. Wish we would have brought some kayaks or canoes!!"

"This is my go to place in my periodic visits to the Oscoda Area. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating making sure you enjoy your stay. The house rules are reasonable so that all the guests can enjoy their stay. I always pick cabin 10, because of the deck right near the waterline. The cabin is well furnished with everything you may need. Looking forward to my next stay. BTW, our stay was nice and quiet due to the time of year with very few other vacationers "

"The cabin was great!!! Super clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils. Lovely, considerate extras: ice, bottled water, fresh flowers, and so much more! We spent 2 nights as a couple and 2 more as grandparents of 2 boys (3&10). Such valuable memories and happy experiences. Beach was quiet and clean with anything you could hope for!!! So grateful for Carmen’s generosity. "

"It’s a good location to do everything Northern east coast from Mackinac Island to Tawas and points inland. The cabin is spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small, but you don’t want to spend a lot of time in there anyway. Communication with the host was/is excellent and timely. The screen on the door needed repair when we arrived, but I contacted the host to inform them that it was like that when we arrived, so all was good. We enjoyed the beach, Oscoda, Tawas, and...

"This house was definitely one to stay at. It was very roomy and had everything you could ever need from bathroom items to kitchen items. It was perfect. My family could not say enough about it. "We liked that it was practical and felt like a home away from home. Some cabins feel like they’re trying to be hotels and that’s fine, but this felt more like a quiet, simplified home. The layout was practical and there were places to hang towels. It made good use of the available space. It’s located away from the busy street and between Tawas and Oscoda, making for a shorter drive to both places. Our only downside was the beds were small (they are listed as double — so I just thought in my head...
