"Have stayed a number of times over about 10 years or so - is consistently good. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is excellent and very good local beer is available. The rooms are small but do what is needed and have always been clean. This is a proper traditional country pub and we need more of them!"

"Had an absolutely fabulous week at the Parson Woodforde. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and a credit to Mark and Maria :) The food was incredible, all local produce with lovely fresh seafood specials and all very well seasoned! The roast on Sunday was one of the best I’ve ever had and we were made to feel very welcome and given loads of useful local information, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were immaculate. "Excellent first rate property, room was perfect facing the quiet garden area. We sat out on the balcony and had coffee and tea in the morning. The night before had a swim and enjoyed the sauna, steam room and pool. Later had a wonderful meal in the ring room. If we’re in the region again, we’ll definitely stay, and hopefully for a little longer!"

"Wonderful stay. Staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The red room was so nice that we stayed in the. It would benefit from some drawers for you to put items in everything had to go at the bottom of the wardrobe with the shoes underneath. The bed is superking and was really comfortable but the pillows were not great they were standard size and if they upgraded them to feather king size pillows and somewhere to put smaller items the room would be perfect.
