"Upon arrival we were met with the beautiful view and upon entering the cottage, amazed with the decor and atmosphere. Family and I had such a great time with the water front access of the pond. My favorite was the enclosed porch that I could sit and soak in the view with my morning coffee or evening glass of wine. "

"Terrific cabin in the heart of Western Maine mountains. Hosts are vey friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again!"

"This property was full off character with barn wood lined walls and cute fixtures. John was incredibly hospitable and made us feel like family. "

"This is a wonderful find and so well appointed -from perfect glassware to comfy sheets and fluffy towels. You will want for nothing! My husband and I stayed for four days to attend a wedding close by. This was a perfect spot. Thank you Mike and Kim for sharing your special place. "

"Finding the house took some scouting. The Alley was not marked. Once we got to the house. we were surprised how quiet it was. Loved the hardwood floors. Only More dishes would have been nice. Place settings for 4 when we had 5."

"Living on Long Island for most of my life, and only really seeing stars once before, 33 years ago, I finally got to REALLY see stars again. We all had an amazing time. So much to see on the property that we hardly scraped what can be seen. I would need a real good ax and a month to get a good scope of the property. There was a nice spot to shoot too. Sucked picking up the brass, but it ain't my property, so we did and we got 98% of it up. Thanks Phil"

"We took our teens with friends for an ice fishing getaway. Caught yellow perch, pickerel & even large mouth bass! Perfect set up. Excellent camp with good supplies. Perfect indoor & outdoor fireplaces. Amazing covered porch with screens & wind protection. Great neighborhood. "

"We returned here this year after a magical stay last summer. We were not disappointed. The location of the house on Lake Hebron makes for a fun time. Kayaking, fishing, birdwatching or just sitting and relaxing occupied our time at the house. The loons calling created a soundtrack for our stay. We were even treated to the unexpected appearance of the Northern lights Nearby, trips to waterfalls, hikes to Mount Kineo filled the week. If you are here, do not miss the B52 crash memorial. "We really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, shallow cove on the lake. Water at the.end of the dock is only waist high, so it's perfect for younger children. Nice cabin and the 2 upper bedrooms have air conditioning. Our group consisted of us...grandparents and two grandkids ages 6 and 9. This is definitely a technology free zone as there is no wifi. But, plenty of family games so you will not be bored. A neighboring camp had a small plane land on the water in front of us and thrilled the kids."
