"The bathroom was in a poor start of repair. The side bath panel was water damaged and obviously been treated and then left Showing further damage and falling apart. The bathroom mirror required changing with various black marks across it. The thermostatic controls were really stiff and couldn’t be fully used for both hot and cold. The markings for hot and cold faded and difficult to establish which way to turn. The bath had various stains around the plug hole and bath and certainly...

"This hotel is very well situated, the parking is a bonus and the views from the restaurant are stunning. The food was well cooked and the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. We appreciated the age of the building and the reason why there was no lift but we struggled somewhat to lug two suitcases up to the top floor as our room was in the converted attic. "The property was clean. George and Jordan were very welcoming. There was a choice of continental breakfast or cooked breakfast. Parking is free. We were really happy with our king room, there is a shower, toilet, sink and bath in our room. The bedroom is very big, wardrobes. Two very Happy customers and will definitely be back there again."

Both half hour one finished after 20 mins and one was full half hour. Lunch with the spa - the spa man who was lovely had to serve it. The restaurant staff refused to do anything. Didn’t clear plates nothing. 4 tables in there and 5 staff stood behind the bar talking ignoring my presence for a few minutes, I left and returned and when I asked...

"I enjoyed my short stat at The White Horse Hotel, and when coming back to Leiston I would most definitely stay here. I had an evening meal which was served piping hot and most enjoyable."

"My favourite East Anglian hotel - recently refurbished, just as friendly and welcoming. As usual there were all sorts here, it's a proper 'local' - good food, good beer, good cheer! Lots of interesting opinions - all topical issues covered and easily overheard. The bar has two tellies now, and I enjoyed watching the end of an ODI (Sri Lanka won), and then some Happy Valley with mein hosts. I thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here (as long as you can do stairs), it's reasonably priced, the...
