"Great place to stay near the train station. The staff were nice and there are a lot of free amenities offered. It was quiet, we could not hear any street traffic. Would recommend this hotel. Only recommendation is the clothes dryers didn’t really dry. Dried for 1.5 hours and they were still wet. Maybe this is just Japanese dryers?"
"We were blown away by how unique the whole experience was and how hospitable the hotel staff was. We were given slippers and traditional robes when we arrived and our luggage was carried to the room for us. Our room was very quaint with a whole tea setup prepared at the table. The dinner was an incredible, elaborate experience that we weren’t expecting. The gardens were beautiful and the hot springs were so relaxing. "
"Lovely getaway for an authentic Japanese Onsen bathing experience. The suite room was gorgeous and came with a private bath which was very worth it for me ! Many delicious local restaurant options nearby too. Staff knew enough English to get us settled. Highly recommend for 1-2 nights as part of your trip. "
"Ryokan’s kaiseki dinner was finely executed and delicious. Ryokan has a “lion “ dance show in evening for guests, a bonus.
Room size was smaller than we expected but adequate. Location was okay as apart from some stores around the square, there was nothing else around the area.

I took a walk to the temple, shrine, and through the quaint Onsen town. Took advantage of the bath 3 times!

"Our stay at the hotel was overall excellent. The room, the private onsen, and the restaurant/breakfast were truly exceptional, making our experience very memorable.
However, there were two aspects that could be improved. First, the lack of accessibility at the hotel entrance made it difficult to manage baby strollers and luggage, since the only access was by stairs. Second, when we asked the reception for assistance with sending our luggage to our next hotel, we were only told to go to the nearest Yamato shop. As we were traveling with a baby, stroller, three suitcases, and backpacks, this became quite challenging.
Aside from these points, everything else was wonderful, and we would recommend the hotel for its comfort, food, and overall atmosphere."
