"The hotel really caters for big events etc. and was almost empty when I stayed. I only met the receptionist who was efficient, friendly and helpful. The hotel is very large and set in its own grounds and gardens. For my stay it was very quiet - I can't comment on when it is full and busy. However, my stay was during the latest heatwave and my bedroom was without air conditioning and uncomfortably hot. "Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...

"Nice looking old building, full of character in keeping with surroundings, however the downside to this was poor internal layout. There was a (small) lift but even with a lift we still had few steps up & down to get to our room so not a problem for us but less abled/non ambient may not have been able to enjoy their stay. Está bem claro que a proposta do hotel ser econômico, não oferecem serviço de quarto nem troca de toalhas então se programe para estadias mais longas.
