Duck hunters, you'll be amazed at the variety at the lake. Calendar open for up to 18 months in advance so plenty of room to book ahead. You will love this spacious home, deck and yard on 110 feet of private lakefront views from almost every room. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility and privacy looking over our quiet waterfront. Enjoy the tasteful furnishings with a flair from Nantucket. The Kitchen area is huge and beautiful with huge windows facing the lake. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas convection oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher and bar that seats 4. We provide dishwasher detergent for your stay and dish liquid. If you like to be your own cook we provide blender, toaster oven, griddle, all dining ware, pots and pans and a few surprises for the kids if they're feeling creative. There is a dining table that seats 6 comfortably in the kitchen area and a nook with comfy wicker chairs and a fireplace. There is an additional Dining area off of the Great room that seats 8. Cross over to an expansive great room featuring a gas fireplace, windows facing the lake, a huge leather sectional that seats 8 and 2 cafe' tables for 2 each The large armoire has a smart TV, VCR, DVD and Wii station.. We have smart TV's and Roku is provided. I no longer have cable. The large dining area table off of the great room is also perfect for games and puzzles. There is a 1st floor laundry room for your use with detergent for your stay. There is also a half bath located on the first level by the laundry room. 1st Floor Master with California King and it's own door to the outside deck so you can wake up to the sun or fall asleep overlooking the lights around the lake. The master bathroom has a garden sized Jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower big enough for two next to a double vanity. There are extra air mattresses with all bedding upon request only.
Upstairs you will find a full bath with double vanity and the rest of the bedrooms. All bedrooms have ceiling fans (along with central air), carpeting, and lovely bedspreads and pillows. Sheets are provided 1 set per bed and extra pillows in the closets.
-2nd bedroom: Comfy Queen Bed with room for an extra (queen air bed upon request only ).
-3rd bedroom: Queen, and additional fold out couch as a double with a mattress topper in the closet for added comfort.
-4th bedroom: Extra-large with 2 bunks, a queen and a fold out full mattress. Plenty of room for a single air bed, by request). Great place for a big family or all the kids!
The large deck has 2 large dining tables and a stunning view day or at night watching the lights sparkle across the lake late in the evening. There is a glass propane fire table on the deck to relax in the evening. We provide a 6 burner gas grill with tools and an apron for the master BBQ King. There is a large, flat, dry area perfect for games like corn hole (You will find we are Clemson fans) and badminton, or for lounging around the stone campfire pit.
Fire wood is not provided but there may be some left from earlier renters. Firewood can be purchased all along the main road for $5- $10/bundle or at Wegman's grocery store.
There is plenty of parking for at least up to 8 vehicles (including boat or Jet Ski trailers) with some maneuvering. There is room to park your personal watercraft (up to 3) on our dock with tie-offs, and the public boat launch is just a few doors down at the Chautauqua Marina. We do have dock power if you need it.
We provide 3 kayaks, a 2-3 person canoe, a few paddle boards, several tow behind inflatables for boating or just tie to the dock and float around. Several inner tubes and floating chairs for lounging. Men's and woman's short set golf clubs with bags available.
We do provide a ladder off of the dock. There is so much to do around Lake Chautauqua: There is the Ellicottville Brewery, Southern Tier Brewery, Fishing, biking, boating, tennis courts and basketball courts at the nearby park, golfing, snowmobiling and skiing within 30 minutes, wineries etc. Don't forget Bemus Point, local fun spot with live entertainment and the Chautauqua Institute nearby.
