"The property is so beautiful. We walked the trails several times a day. Our dogs had a great vacation. They loved the freedom of the place. We heard the flying squirrels and were lucky enough to have one float past the window. Nearby we enjoyed the Grayson Highlands State Park. We did a short hike and got to see some wild ponies. The home is beautifully decorated and you can tell the owner wants you to have a great experience."

"This is an absolutely beautiful cabin with great proximity to Grayson Highlands State Park and surrounding open space. We did several stunning hikes during our stay, and only wished we had more time. The cabin is spotless, and feels like it’s brand new. It has everything you need, including super fast WiFi. The natural setting of the cabin is beautiful and quiet so we ate every meal outdoors on the porch or around the fire pit. This rental definitely has our top recommendation."

"What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well....

"My husband and I ran away for Thanksgiving. It's a holiday that stresses me out so away we went. We live in Florida, but my heart belongs to the mountains. This adorable cabin is tucked away in the mountains so you feel secluded. It's 400sqft of just right. We loved the decorations and look. Unfortunately most of our plans got rained out, but certainly not anyone's fault and we made do. Would recommend this cute little cabin to anyone."

"We had a great time, cabin is has a nice view of the forest. Short drive to downtown West Jefferson with restaurants and shopping. The cabin itself is located within close proximity to a couple of other cabins. It was well laid out, with primary bedroom downstairs and loft with twin beds. Two great living spaces and well equipped with televisions. Perfect for a little getaway weekend."

"Awesome stay for a couple or small family if you're looking for a quiet retreat. The beds were not comfortable - the mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. If you can overlook that issue, it's a great spot for a weekend getaway. We spent most of the time on the screened porch and deck, anyways. Close to West Jefferson and lots of hikes. "

"It was very quiet and peaceful at night and during the day as well. It was nice to have a dishwasher in a cabin. We drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked 2 different days. We went the 2nd day to see the ponies! The hot tub was very relaxing. It was also nice to sit out on the porch on the rocking chairs. "😃 The cabin has comfortable bedrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, great for colder days! the kitchen has new utensils and appliances. outside there's a nice fire pit, great for hot chocolate and marshmallows! Excellent location and incredible river view. we love to stay in the cabin for 4 days, we'll definitely be back! Suggestion: a hot tub would make the cabin perfect! 😕deep cleaning in the bathrooms, watch out for spider web."
