Welcome to the Garden Suite at Second Street Cottages!
(Permit#:06-01959)
The Garden Suite is located just two blocks from the center of Ashland, including the Oregon Shakespeare Festival Theaters, delightful shops, and unique restaurants and art galleries.

It is one of two separate suites at Second Street Cottages: a turn-of-the-century home, now completely renovated as a travelers' accommodation. It is located on a lovely, quiet residential street in the historic Railroad District. We welcome guests to spacious, fresh rooms and wonderful outdoor space.

The Garden Suite:
-2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, sleeps up to 5 people
-living room, dining area
-fully-equipped kitchen
-deck and patio
-in-unit washer and dryer

The Garden Suite has all the amenities: spacious rooms, hardwood floors, finely-appointed furnishings, TV/DVD player, free WiFi, and central air conditioning.

Likewise, the Garden Suite has it's own private entrance, deck table and chairs for outdoor dining - as well as casual seating on the patio.

Please note there are security cameras installed on the exterior of the property.

Second Street Cottages also has a charming 4 bedroom/3 full bathroom unit: The Heritage Suite. It can be seen at VRBO listing #737903. Although the two suites are independent units, they can be rented together at the same time (depending upon availability). Please call for availability of a one night reservation. We are happy to accommodate if possible.

Life is uncertain - we strongly recommend purchasing Travel Insurance for your trip. In the event of a last minute emergency or need to cancel, travel insurance offers peace of mind for all. Please consider this as we cannot offer refunds outside of our stated policies.

Excellent location

We travelled to Ashland to see plays, shop and wander around this lovely city. The location of this house is perfect to do that without getting into our car. The Garden suite was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped.

Great Hospitality and Great Location

Right in the heart of downtown Ashland, walking distance to everything you need. Also 10 minute drive to several local wineries. Then staff was super quick to respond to everything. Comfortable arrangements and a wonderful stay in Ashland. Thank you!

Perfect Place!

Everything about this cottage is perfect! The location is walkable to everything in central Ashland. It's a beautiful property and very well maintained. It's 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom and perfect for 2 individuals or 2 couples because each room has dedicated access to its own bathroom....so it's 2 en suites. Our host, Sugar, was the best! Very friendly, helpful and gave us great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Great Choice!

This is a great spot for 2 couples visiting Ashland for the OSF because each of the 2 bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom (one just also opens to the hallway). It's an easy walk to all the downtown restaurants and the theaters. And don't forget to check out the Cabaret Theater, just a couple of blocks from the OSF theaters. The productions are top notch and and a nice variety. Sugar has done a marvelous job of setting up and stocking this cozy cottage. We had everything we needed and Sugar was right there if we had questions...though we didn't. We highly recommend this cottage.

Delightful stay!

We traveled to Ashland with another couple who are close friends. It was wonderful to share the living room and kitchen spaces together while having separate bedrooms and bathrooms to use. The outside sitting areas were also very inviting and gave us plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen as well supplied. The keyless entry was easy to use and convenient. I canā€™t think of anything I would want to change.

Cozy, comfy spot walking distance to plays!

This cozy cottage has all the amenities you need to relax after enjoying taking in the shows, shops and sites of Ashland. Short walk to Oregon Shakespeare Festival, restaurants, shops. The beds are super comfy. Bedroom arrangements and 2 full bathrooms make it great for multiple couples, several adults, or a family w teens who want their own space to chill. Host is very easy to contact. We love this cottage and think you will, too.

Great place!

What a great place! Perfect amount of space for our family of 4 for our first visit to Ashland. A 5-minute walk to the theatre festival and pretty much anything downtown. So convenient! The cottage itself was impeccably clean and cute with everything we needed. Sugar was extremely responsive and lovely before and during our stay. Would definitely come back!

Returned to the cottage after a magnificent stay last year, and was not at all disappointed. The place is always immaculate, the kitchen well-equipped. The cottage is perfectly situated for hikes in Lithia Park, walks in the railroad district, proximity to the co-op, and of course the theater. We look forward to a return visit next year.

The property is charming and in a great location which allows walking access to downtown Ashland. The twin beds are on the small side so not really great for adults. The home also had a bit of a mothball odor.
