"If you looking for a quiet family oriented place for 1-2 nights outside Kyoto with a Ryokan and privacy. This is the place. Bring lots of games and books, nice walks along the river. It is not a large hotel and it is not easy to get to. But the right circumstances make this a perfect experience. "

"Our recent stay at NIPPONIA Miyama was unforgettable — not just because of the beautifully restored houses, but because every detail showed how thoughtful and considerate the team is. The atmosphere is calm, zen, and deeply connected to the surrounding nature.
What truly stood out was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to tailor activities just for us. They arranged a private hike to a nearby waterfall, followed by a farm‑to‑table experience where we learned to identify local...

"Incrível a experiência de se hospedar em um ryokan por um dia, e conhecer de perto os costumes japoneses.
O onsen é excelente e bem relaxante.
Eu senti falta de alguém para explicar como se comiam as comidas do jantar e café da manhã, pois eu fiquei perdida, por exemplo, sobre o que fazer com um ovo cru, não sabia que os japoneses comiam o ovo cru com arroz."

"No all employees speak or understand good English, however, they were all polite. The diner was below expectations - a lot of different meals but none of them tasty nor fresh; the breakfast was better. In the rooms the bathtub is very small like in normal japanese residences. The onsen is nice, with baths inside and outside, and individuals baths."
