"I was a little concerned that check in info, including teh address, was to be provided only 3 hours before check-in time, but in the event it all worked out fine. The apartment is not fancy, but comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped."

"Cosy Barn was the perfect place to stay for a get-away from it all weekend.The house was welcoming, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Quiet location with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep, and the village pub is about half a mile away. Claire responded quickly to the booking request and gave clear instructions for access to the house. Thank you Claire for making your cottage so welcoming and excellent communication. "

"Large airy apartment. Noise from the street could be heard, but we were tired from site seeing so it hardly disturbed our sleep. Lively part of town, lots of places to eat and drink . We walked to everything and left the car in Cavendish Road carpark 3 minutes away for £6 per 24 hours. "

"The property is ideally situated for the city centre. Very clean and tidy, easy checking in process on the morning of check in you are sent a message with the codes to get into the property and for the key safe of your room. Would stay here again. "

"really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! "Bed was very uncomfortable and they gave us a key that didn’t work to the front door of the building. Was woken up early morning by the cleaner so had to check out earlier than implied. Won’t be coming back "

"Excellent studio apartment with all the facilities you'd need for a short stay, in a clean, modern building and at a great price. Great central location and good for trams, especially if travelling to Tramlines festival. Lots of extra facilities in building like a laundry room which was very useful. Would definitely stay again next time in Sheffield."

"The property itself was ok but it is joined to a building site and all you hear is stihl saws loud music and shouting and swearing from the builders. The 9 pm noise curfew is a joke, bangra until the early hours. Stay Angels were no help at the point of complaint, nothing we can do was their mantra."

"Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. "

"The room is well renovated and everything works, mainly the shower. The breakfast is excelent, but expensive. There are some work in progress on the square in front of the reception, with the street interrupted, so the taxis and ubers sometimes don’t come to the right place. But it is a good location anyway to walk to the nice city centre of the (former) “steel city”, already converted to pedestrian streets. There was a fire alarm once in an ungodly hour, with everybody using the stairs to go out. It was not clear if someone in a given room made some smoke or if it was a failure on the programmed weekly fire exercise."
