Nestled just 15 minutes from Hendersonville and conveniently situated near popular attractions like the Flat Rock Playhouse and Carl Sandburg Home, this central location makes exploring the Pisgah and DuPont forests an easy and scenic drive. Take a short hike from the cabin and you'll encounter some of the most incredible waterfalls in the area.

Step inside our thoughtfully crafted 3-bedroom, 2 1/2-bath log home and you'll immediately feel a sense of warmth and tranquility. The wrap-around deck calls you to relax in the large, soothing hot tub, while the romantic stone fireplace becomes the centerpiece of intimate evenings spent in the company of loved ones. The stainless appliances in the kitchen elevate your culinary experience, while the porch beckons you to unwind in the comfort of the rocking chairs.

In January 2024, we went above and beyond to ensure the utmost luxury and comfort by completely renovating the master bath. It now boasts a beautiful tile shower and double vanities, providing an indulgent retreat for relaxation (updated pictures coming soon!).

Our commitment to creating family-friendly spaces shines through in the basement game room, complete with ping pong and foosball tables. Here, you can create treasured vacation memories with those who matter most.

Overall the location was fantastic. The house was clean! We love staying there!! Two things that we experienced on our stay was 1. The communication with the host was a little slow ( but very friendly), 2. Even though you're being charged a cleaning fee, there are many requests to clean the home prior to leaving ( Take out trash , strip the beds , run the dishwasher)

Pros:The bathrooms were clean, good water pressure (loft bathroom), and the towels were soft & big in size.The primary bed was comfortable, clean sheets, and nice comforter. Some rooms had blankets.TV on the main floor was a nice size, and easy to link to our application for us to watch football games.Plenty of kitchen cooking pans (etc.), cooking utensils, and place settings (plates, bowls, cups and silverware). Washing machine and dryer worked well. Cons: The couch and loveseat need to be replaced. In the photos they look nice, but they currently have coverings on them and are broken down for seating. No new individual wrapped kitchen sponge for washing, only a used one. Only one kitchen towel.Kitchen water came out cloudy. Since the bathroom water came out clear, we used bathroom water for making coffee.No coffee pot as pictured in the photos or advertised. We brought coffee filters and coffee, but the kitchen had a K-Cup coffee maker.Basement had a musty smell. Yet, table games were in good shape.Outside needs major pressure washing clean. Cabin is surrounded by tall trees, not a lot of sun gets to the cabin to dry areas around the house. The front walkway is very slippery. The back porch deck and sitting is covered by mildew.No breathtaking view from the back porch, too many trees.Must be able to backup well, no turn around and narrow driveway. Ceiling fans need to be replaced. They do provide box fans throughout cabin for air circulation.

Clean property. Hot tub was nice! Deck needs alittle love but was still nice to be outside. The screened in area needs some work to be safe for little ones. Inside is rustic and homey. Older cabin floors are creaky makes it hard to not wake others if you are an early riser lol. Overall great place to celebrate my birthday with family.

Nice older cabin

Me and my wife went with her parents for Memorial Day weekend.Pros:Cabin was neat and was overall easy to get to. There was a hot tub that went well enjoyed, and plenty of space to lounge and relax both inside and on the open porch. The kitchen came fully prepared for everything we needed (dishes, kuerig, etc). The house was conveniently located nearby Hendersonville and Saluda. There was an activity space downstairs and most rooms had TVs. Cons: Our view wasn’t at all like the pictures showed, but on second look it seems like that’s because the trees all had leaves on them when we went. It would likely be better in the fall/winter. The hot tub while fantastic, wasn’t up to temperature night 1. Luckily we had 2 more days to enjoy. Overall it was a really nice cabin with privacy and the outside natural area was beautiful. It was a little older than we thought, but 100% not a knock on the place. We enjoyed our stay.

A great choice

This property had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was impressively stocked with a wide assortment of dishes and appliances. The instructions left in the cabin we super helpful when it came to navigating the hot tub and for checkout. We felt secluded and safe. It was everything we had hoped for in a perfect mountain getaway.

Christmas Vacation

This was one of the best Christmases we have ever had. We spent most of our time there in the cabin with the fireplace. We brought a small Christmas tree and decorated the cabin. It was really nice to look in from the hot tub and see it all. This was the second time we have been there, and the cabin is always well kept up and clean. The ladies do an awesome job maintaining it. we will definitely be coming back.

Cozy wedding weekend

We enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was the perfect size to have our wedding reception and accommodate our small family after our wedding. The host was very responsive! I highly recommend!

Wonderful property

This was an absolutely wonderful property! Everything was very clean and just as advertised. Owners graciously left us firewood, and we built a couple of fires in their beautiful fireplace. Highly recommend for a mountain getaway!

Excellent Home

The house was everything we needed and wanted. We loved the drive up to the cabin along with the views and the seclusion of the cabin. We loved that the cabin came with wood for the fireplace. The cabin was very cozy and gave us everything we needed. We grilled twice on the charcoal grill and had a fire every night. We will return. Thank you for such a lovely weekend.

Charming mountain cabin with all the amenities

Gorgeous cabin is comfortable, clean and well-suited for folks of all ages. The kids loved the fuzbol and ping pong and the adults loved the hot tub and the comfort of the bedrooms. Highly recommend!

Cute cabin feel

Great location! About 20 minutes to downtown Hendersonville. Also great location to the mountain bike parks and waterfalls. The house made you feel like you were in the tree tops! So peaceful to sit outside in the morning listening to birds. Only draw back was that the only air conditioner is in the loft. It is fine for cooling the family room and kitchen, but the two bedrooms in the main level get a bit warm. Probably not an issue in other months besides July and August. Love the update bathroom in the loft and the view of the sunrise from the loft!
