This stay was our fourth (maybe fifth?) at this lovely property and it’s definitely our go-to place now in Hendersonville. It’s lovely and so close to everything!

The Mountain Brook Retreat was the perfect cozy little cabin for our family’s fall weekend getaway. It was in a great location for all the activities we planned—Biltmore, hiking, Chimney Rock and more. The cabin was equipped with all the amenities we could possibly need. The hosts put a lot of care into ensuring our stay was perfect, with clear communication, snacks, and more. We will definitely stay again if we return to Hendersonville!

We loved our stay as it was very peaceful, in a beautiful neighborhood and almost to the top of a mountain. The roads were all paved and not steep, but we used our GPS every time we left the home so we wouldn’t get lost! We stayed for six days and we explored a different town each day we went out. There was a large variety of shopping and dining places. Our favorite breakfast place was the Mills River restaurant. I never met the host, but they very responsive through messaging on VRBO. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!! The thought of all the little things we needed. We even had coffee and filters in the cabinets along with snacks & drinks!
The last evening we even had deer down behind our room.

We had a good time while we were in town. It was very clean and they had everything you would need for your stay. They have a beautiful backyard to wake up and drink coffee. I think the only thing is that the king bed is in the living room which I didn’t realize upon booking, but totally user error on my part!

Not as advertised.

This listing on VRBO was a remodeled basement. VRBO is supposed to be the whole house. All weekend long we heard walking around and vacuuming. While having a private conversation somebody was on the upper deck listening. You would think they would have had the courtesy to go inside. The owners also made it a point to walk by and checkout my girlfriend. I do not recomend.

Private, Cozy, Comfy & super generously appointed!

We highly recommend this place. The host Sharon is beyond courteous, attentive and kind and has loaded this place up with every creature comfort you can imagine. The house is perfectly situated, very serene and even has a beautiful babbling Brook towards the bottom of the property to enjoy nature. The king size bed was super comfortable, and there is plenty of linens and extra pillows and extra everything really. The entire home including the bathroom were absolutely spotless as well. We were very impressed and will look to stay here again when visiting our daughter and grandson.

Quick trip to Hendersonville

This was our third time staying at this property and it was, once again, perfect! It’s become our go-to place when visiting Hendersonville. The owners are wonderful and the space was spotless. We absolutely intend to stay again!

Long Christmas weekend

We stayed at this lovely property in October and knew we’d be back! The house is in a perfect location so that we could easily access Hendersonville, Fletcher, Asheville, and Mills River. Sharon made sure we had all we needed and that the space was spotless. We will absolutely choose those property again!

Peaceful Mountain Visit

The property has a beautiful and peaceful setting surrounded by trees on the mountainside. Very clean property. Sharon was quick with responses and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice stay.

Mountain Brook Retreat

Sharon and Charles respected our privacy for the entire length of our stay. Beautiful backyard space and very peaceful. All essentials were provided to us which was another plus. The only compliant we had was the camera right outside our entrance because it takes away from the privacy factor. We somehow managed to lose their key on check out day and they told us not to worry about it which was nice of them. Overall, great stay and their home location is a short drive away from multiple NC attractions. Recommended if looking to book a place that is nearby the Asheville area.

Hendersonville Apartment

We enjoyed the comforts of having a bedroom and an additional bed. I'm sure the view from the back is beautiful in the summertime. We actually didn't get to spend much time there, as we were sightseeing a good bit. I think this is an excellent choice for a young couple or possibly a couple with one or two children. For adults, it would be a little tight for more than one couple, as the largest bed is in the living area. Overall, it was a great stay!

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I had a wonderful time and this property was perfect for our needs. Close to downtown Hendersonville & a short ride to Asheville and state parks for hiking, this property was perfectly appointed. The property manager was quick to answer any questions prior to our trip and accessible had we had questions during our stay. Thank you Sharon! We will definitely keep your property in mind for future trips to the mountains.

Property located in a quiet neighborhood close to Fletcher and Hendersonville or Asheville, NC. HOSTS are friendly but respected our privacy. All of the amenities of a hotel suite. Great WiFi reception. Brook Mountain Retreat gets 5-stars!!!

Relaxing retreat
