Within 3 miles, Carsington Water offers activities such as cycling and water sports to enjoy, and miles of picturesque waterside walks. The unforgettable Chatsworth House and Farmshop (16 miles), Hardwick Hall (23 miles) and Kedleston Hall (12 miles) are great for days out, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath (8.5 miles), Ashbourne (5 miles), Buxton (18.5 miles), and Bakewell (14 miles) all of which boast an array of independent shops and restaurants. Don’t forget to stop for a Bakewell pudding.

Step into the kitchen/diner and notice the beautiful, exposed beams that feature throughout the property. There is all you need to cook a family meal including a beautiful range oven which lends a farmhouse feel. Find handy storage within the utility room along with a washing machine. There are two beautiful lounges to choose from, a cosy lounge with wood burner and Smart TV for long evenings relaxing by the fire, and a newer addition of a bright and airy lounge with lots of light through the picture window and skylight, perfect for curling up with a good book. The dining room is a wonderful space to sit and enjoy a celebration meal with good company. Heading upstairs you will find two king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (which can be made into twins on request) offering ultimate flexibility, and one double room. One of the king-size bedrooms has an en-suite shower room with shower and WC, and there is a main shower room with shower and WC to serve the other two bedrooms.

The enclosed garden offers a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the fresh air with outdoor dining furniture, perfect for summer meals outside.
