"The house was nice but all the Ring cameras bothered me. I felt like I was being watched. It did smell like dogs when we first got there, but after opening the windows the smell went away. The bedroom smoke detector went off early on and smelled like something was burning. I contacted the owner and they responded right away. "Rooms were perfect and the location was convenient. We have 2 suggestions for improvement. There needs to be more plates to suite at least the 6 people the home will sleep. A new heavier weight shower curtain or a curved shower rod, this will be to keep the curtain off of you while showering. "

"Justin the host was great, responsive to every request and sorted out the TV sound for us gladly. The place is a bit dated but comfortable. Highlights are the large TV receiver and of course the delicious burritos delivered every morning. Location is convenient to the national parks and Carlsbad restaurants and river walk. Would definitely stay here again."
