Luxurious home in Arta with private swimming pool, can be inside or outside

Villa Desol is a holiday home that is second to none. In a beautiful location, less than five kilometres from Artà, it is surrounded by magic that can be felt as soon as you enter the property. It is the loving details and the flair for stylish compositions that make up the special aesthetic, which is very inviting even at first glance. The villa was completely renovated and refurbished in 2011. Fortunately, the old olive and algarroba trees were retained during the redesign of the garden and the campos. This creates a very successful contrast to the modern appearance of the house. In 2013, we added our own licensed borehole. The plants and lawn are supplied with automatic irrigation. Pretty gravel, grass and terrace areas characterise the grounds. At its centre is the pretty pool, which is decoratively tiled and accessible via steps. You can relax in the sun on the comfortable sun loungers to your heart's content and enjoy your wonderful holiday to the full. A total of three parasols are available to protect you from excessive UV radiation. Two terrace areas by the house, one of which is covered, also invite you to linger. There is cosy polyrattan lounge furniture and a dining table for eating together. Breakfast here is undoubtedly just as enjoyable as a culinary dinner in the evening. The barbecue also guarantees a hearty barbecue.



Entering the house via the covered terrace, you reach the open-plan living/dining room, which exudes an all-encompassing cosiness and features exceptionally stylish and harmonious furnishings. Chic exposed beam ceilings harmonise perfectly with the floor tiles and soft wall colours. In the sofa corner, you can make yourself completely comfortable on the sofa and armchairs with pretty wickerwork and relax with a delicious drink, a good book or an entertaining film, as the TV is installed here. On chilly days, you may want to enhance the atmosphere with a cosy fire. The inviting dining table on the other side of the room, designed with white furniture, is perfect for dining together indoors with a view outside. From here, you can access the bright and modern kitchen through a wide arched passageway, which is fully equipped with all the utensils you need for everyday use. A Senseo, filter coffee machine and kettle are also included. As a small service and to save you having to do the grocery shopping right after your arrival, cleaning products, washing-up liquid, liquid hand soap, dishwasher tabs, tea lights, napkins etc. are available. Discreetly furnished and decorated bedrooms form the basis for an all-round restful sleep. Soft colours and lighting elements conjure up an enchanting atmosphere at any time of day. A total of four beds measuring 0.9 x 1.9 metres are available, each of which can be combined to form a double bed. The bathroom is flooded with daylight and impresses with its modern design and high-quality fittings. An iron and hairdryer are conveniently available in the house and do not need to be carried in your luggage.



If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing villa in an idyllic rural setting close to beautiful natural sandy beaches, this house is highly recommended. Lively tourist resorts such as Cala Ratjada (13 km) with its many bars, restaurants and shopping facilities can be reached in no time at all. After a successful day out, you can always return to your own villa to swim a few lengths or end the day on the terrace as the mood takes you. Villa Desol is a stylish little holiday home in a beautiful rural location between Artà and Canyamel. It is surrounded by a very well-kept outdoor area. Artà is only eight minutes away by car. It is a great place for shopping and eating out. Numerous fine, white sandy beaches along the local coastal area are just a few minutes away by car. The airport can be reached in an hour.
