Unfortunately we had many issues with the property. So I want to give an honest review for anyone who chooses to stay here. On arrival the kitchen window was wide open and broken, I contacted the owner immediately who then sent someone over to take a look and they then had to send for someone to come and put locks on the window to secure it. This in all took roughly 3 hours. In this time we had the opportunity to look around properly. There was a musty smell in the bedrooms, in all the draws and wardrobes were air fresheners to try and mask this. The whole of the property is old, furniture, kitchen, beds. There was no toaster or tv in the bedroom as stated in the listing. But when I mentioned this the owner sent a new toaster over to the property. The outside was very neglected. No upkeep to the property, it has paint peeling off the walls and there are weeds everywhere. You can only see the sea if you stand up. The pictures are very different to what we saw. There was a mouldy chopping board in the draw, handles hanging off wardrobes, the beds were uncomfortable and the linen poor and mismatched, the list is endless. We were very disappointed as we had read the good reviews. There was no hand soap or water (I mention this as we have always had these things in a rented villa. Plane noise starts from 7am daily. The only positives were the location was ok, 25 minutes walk in either direction along the seafront gets you to Arrecife or playa Honda. The outdoor sofa was nice.
