Our stay 7/10-7/13.

We had an overall great time at this property! Beautiful location, loved the hot tub and fire pit at night! Lake was close by! Only downside was we had ants coming into the main bedroom and onto the bed, but not a lot. Also no AC so it could get pretty hot in the house mid day! But other than that, such a good trip!

Great weekend getaway with family

Wanted a getaway with my kids and grandkids and this was the perfect place. Was hoping for snow but it was mid-70’s when we arrived. The place was darling and had all the room we needed. It was located at the end of a street so had no traffic and backed up to the forest. Enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out with our kids, grandkids and their spouses. Woke up to snow on our last day and the kids actually had time to play in the snow and go sledding. Was the perfect weekend.

Great location, issues with cleanliness

The location of this property was excellent, and we appreciated being able to check in a few hours early. The manager was accommodating with our requests, which we were grateful for.However, there were several disappointing aspects of our stay that need attention. For a group of nine, only eight bath towels were provided, and there were no extra pillows or blankets for the ninth bed. The kitchen cabinets and drawers were sticky and had clearly not been cleaned prior to our arrival.Additionally, one of the beds had unclean sheets with visible hair and lashes on them, and we found large chunks of hair on the shower walls in one of the bathrooms. Given the questionable cleanliness of the kitchen, we ended up purchasing our own paper plates, bowls, and utensils, as we didn’t feel comfortable using what was provided.I reached out to the property manager with this feedback in hopes they would address these issues before the next guests arrived, but I received no response. I am sharing this review with the hope that these concerns will be resolved to improve the experience for future guests.

Reunion with Friends

There were 6 of us friends meeting in the foothills for a reunion. The property was very clean and it was nice to have a big kitchen table to gather around to eat and play board games. The communication with Tisha was excellent. She responded very quickly to any questions that I had prior to our arrival. The weather was not hot so we were able to survive without air conditioning. Our only suggestion would be to install a dishwasher. This is a big home with lots of beds which means your advertising to families and groups. It would have been nice to not have to handwash everything for all of us. Because of the weather we did not use the hot tub or the fireplace but on our last day were able to sit outside in the sun amongst the trees.

Great Family getaway!

A relaxing week in a quiet house, lots of time spent on the porch, a few lake outings, a hike, some wine tasting and great food at local restaurants. There were a couple of quirks with the house and the property manager was able to address them and/or get ahold of the owners fairly quickly to get answers. Hopefully the welcome book will be updated as we recommended to property management company, that would have answered a few of our questions. Beware of the steep gravel driveway, a couple of our cars had a little trouble getting traction to drive up. We ended up parking on the cul dec sac instead which was easier.

We were very uncomfortable staying at this house. It had a smell to it, the beds and towels didn’t seem clean. The checkout process asked us to wash, dry and fold the towels. I do not recommend this property.

family had a great stay

My wife and I along with my two sisters and husbands stayed for two nights and enjoyed the house very much. It was comfortable, well decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. We are hosts in San Diego and this home is FIVE STAR all the way.

Family reunion

We all enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room. We are all 65+ years but it would have been great for kids. Only negatives: no dishwasher or dishpan to do dishes. Had to use a large salad bowl to do dishes. Also closets in two of three bedrooms had locked closets. No where to hang clothes. But would book again.

The property was nice. We enjoyed the hit tub and firepit. However, there were ticks, bed bugs, and spiders in all the beds. My family and I got so many bites that it was unbearable. I had to clean all the bedding every day, but it didn't help.

Avoid: House smells of gas

We arrived late one night, and the house smelled of gas, coming from the bathroom. The host confirmed there was a smell from the gas water heater in the bathroom closet. Since we were unable to tolerate the smell and were not comfortable with the risk of a propane leak, we packed up and drove home: the vacation was ruined.

Met our needs

We came to attend a family wedding. All but one person flew. We had fairly formal clothes and there was not a hangar in the place. I called and got no response. We had to leave for airport very early and were asked to wash and fold towels and put sheets in washer and dryer. A little tough when heading to Sacramento at 6:00 am. Other than that, house was well equipped and clean and accommodated us nicely. We had a baby up thru an 80 yr old

Beautiful Mountain Home

We enjoyed this house in June- made fires every night, caught fish in the lake, hiked all over. The house suited us very well. The open kitchen plan allowed for great communication and family. Fun. The spacious backyard backs into the forest and had everything you could want from a hammock to swings to fire pits and sitting areas. This place really has it all!

Luxury camping!

This is a great house in the National forest we like to camp in. We normally camp in the Stanislaus campgrounds but they were all closed. We reserved this house instead this year and now I think my friends and I are going to have trouble going back to camping in the woods like we were accustomed to doing every Memorial Day holiday weekend.

Beautiful updated cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin. 3 bathrooms really come in handy. Also 4 bedrooms. The open concept kitchen was exactly what we wanted. I was looking for a one story cabin so this fit the bill perfectly. We can’t wait to return.
