Beautiful updated cabin in Arnold, California perfect for weekend getaways, skiing trips or just relaxing in the mountain air. This cozy cabin will become your favorite getaway. This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath home will comfortably sleep 6.
Large deck and enclosure perfect place to gather with the family amidst the surrounding pines. Just a short walk away from restaurants , shopping and public pool (seasonal) . Also short drive to Arnold's down town area , White Pines lake , Calaveras Big Trees , Murphy's and many other gold country adventures

Murphyā€™s Cottage was perfect for our relaxing getaway! The house was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the large shaded deck and grill for dining outdoors. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. We were especially happy to have our dog with us. Arnold has a lot to offer, and is very dog friendly. Communication with the owner was easy. He was quick to respond to questions. We look forward to returning to this idyllic spot in the future.

Cabin in the woods

The cabin was very cute- looked recently remodeled inside. The kitchen was gorgeous and was opened to the living room. The deck was nice to sit on. The cabin had a nice secluded feel- empty lot on both sides of the cabin. We used the back yard to throw the ball for our dog.

A break from the Bay Area

We came up to Arnold for a little getaway from the Bay Area and we had an amazing time. Murphys cottage was very clean, spacious and the location was perfect. I loved the covered porch and the rocking chair. It was a lovely spot to curl up with a book. The kitchen island table was expandable and perfect for our game nights. We couldnā€™t have asked for better accommodations.

Cozy cottage in the woods

This is a great location to access Bear Valley Ski Resort. Also, there are nearby hiking and mountain biking trails we really enjoyed. Neighborhood was quiet. This property has everything you need, not to mention being pet friendly. Owner is very responsive and answers questions quickly, and is also very kind. I left some important prescriptions behind, and he made sure I received them back promptly. Much appreciated! We plan to return next ski season.

The Winter Home

This was our fifth visit to Murphyā€™s Cottage, and our kids have lovingly nicknamed it "the winter home" since we make annual trips. The cabin is always clean and well-kept, and its location is perfectā€”close to the main road and nearby stores. Itā€™s equipped with central heating and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, which we love to relax by after a day in the snow at Bear Valley. Plus, itā€™s just a 35-minute drive to the slopes, making it a convenient and comfortable retreat.

Arnold cabin

We had a great trip to Arnold with our 3 kids on Christmas weekend. The house is beautiful and was in the most convenient location close to the market and restaurants. The house was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Thank you so much! We had a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin, great location

Many windows in this cabin sitting among tall trees give you plenty of light. The views of the trees around you soothes the eyes. Open kitchen/living area makes it feel spacious and light. Convenient floor plan makes you comfortable. Parking is easy, you donā€™t need to back up and there is no steep hill. Close to highway but yet serene and peaceful. Communication with the host is easy and quick. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful & Peaceful Escape

The kids had their first Fall break this year, so we decided to escape the subarbs for the Redwoods. Fantastic host, the best we ever had. William was kind and accommodating. Wonderful Spot

We decided to get out of town for my wife's birthday and found this cute little cabin that would allow dogs! It was everything we could have asked for! The neighborhood we very quiet and the deck was perfect with no neighbors that you could see. We sat out there and played card games.

This is our second year staying here. We've enjoyed the space very much, and it's in a great location to lakes and big trees park. This year we noticed dog hair around (not from us), but it doesn't bother us and it's worth it to have a pet friendly place when you need to bring your dog! We hope to return again next year!
