"Perfect spot for our summer family reunion ... half from the East coast, the rest from Ohio. We enjoyed swimming (yes, the pool water was cold but super refreshing on hot days), fire pit, spacious kitchen for cooking, breezeway with extra ovens and refrigerator. The big living room was fun for family games and just hanging out. Gorgeous views, loved the sound of the stream nearby. "Trail" goes up to a meadow, but looked like it had not been mowed, so will say with other reviewers that the trail...

"We had a great time here - absolutely beautiful place with plenty of entertainment."

"The house was nicely remodeled, perfect sizw for 2 adults. It was very clean and well maintained. Easy to get to, just off of Route 711 N."

"We had a "Girls Trip" weekend away and had a blast at this cute house! The porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening ice cream from down the street! The host was very helpful in suggesting things to do locally as we were afraid that out float trip at Coal Tubin in Johnstown may be cancelled due to elevated water levels. We had such a great time that we are planning to come back next summer!"

"Finch House is a wonderful property. The location right beside a stream is peaceful. All of the light switches are labeled!! That is a level of detail much appreciated. The entire aesthetic of the home was perfect. I coild have sat for hours outside on the patio or the sheltered shed porch. Thank you John and Kathleen for such a pleasant stay. Definitely "exceptional".P.S. As someone who grew up in Westmoreland County, I have always loved the town of Ligonier!"

"The property was perfect for our family weekend celebrating our daughter’s graduation from college. The parking was a little unnerving at first because we weren’t sure if there was enough room but we fit two cars fine in front and our oversized SUV down below. Communication with Lenor and Tom was fantastic and they answered right away with any questions we had. We will definitely refer anyone looking for a quiet retreat to stay there. "An adult family of 7 stayed at a very well-kept Vrbo residence for a wedding that was held in the area. The interior was newly renovated and gave a sense of homeyness. It made our trip not only affordable but also restful for the 12-hour drive from our home. Thank you!"
