Paradise on the Lake!!
Loved our stay. The owner was accommodating and fast to communicate with any questions I had. It was a perfect way to spend spring break. We will 100 % be booking another stay here when the weather warms up!!

Best Rental ever

Spring break on the lake
We really enjoyed our stay. Sitting on the porch in the mornings with coffee and listening to the birds was fantastic. House was exactly as expected, very clean and very well equipped. We really appreciated the selection of coffee. We brought our boat as well, boat launch was close by and owner supplied great directions. Family enjoyed be able to fish off the rocks as well as the dock, beautiful dock. Would highly recommend this property. Thanks for a great week.

Amazing house on amazing part of the lake!
This house is a perfect location with spectacular views of Smith Lake! We so enjoyed the back porch for the sunset views and sitting at the table for sunrise for breakfast. This house was spotless inside and out! We spent so much time on the beautiful 2 story dock watching boats go by and can’t wait to stay here again! 5 stars!

A wonderful spot - clean, peaceful, great for swimming
We had a wonderful time at this lake house. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The dock for baiting and swimming was great. My teens swam and kayaked and spent hours hanging out by and on the water. The property was pet-friendly and my dog loved laying on the deck of the house watching boats go by. The house itself was perfect for a weekend stay. We will stay again.

Relaxing getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our six days and nights, and highly recommend Providence Point. The home has everything we needed, and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck and the dock and enjoying the wonderful expensive view. Quite frankly, we spent very little time inside. We are 60-70 and got a bit puffed going up and down from the dock but it is totally worth it. We had chipmunks, deer, squirrels and hummingbirds come visit us every day. Close by Arley has everything you need. We wanted to chill and cooked in every day. The BBQ made it easy. The hosts have ample chairs on the dock and deck, and the house is appointed with everything we needed and was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and highly recommend this VRBO.

Wonderful 2nd Stay
This is our second stay and once again it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay and had so much fun on the lake. This location is peaceful and beautiful and the house is perfect. We brought our jet ski and it is easy to get to the house from the Saddleback Bridge Boat launch. Having Triple Creek Marina almost right across from the house made it super easy to get fuel. This is a great location and the town of Arley is a few minutes away. The Arley Cafe has great food and is a hidden gem. This was a perfect getaway. I really love the house and location.

Great Place!
I've stayed here several times and will be back. It's the perfect place for a relaxing trip to the lake. The view is great and the dock is good for swimming, fishing and relaxing. Bruce is a great host as well.

Great Vacation!
The house was very clean. The lake was beautiful no weeds and warm. Jumping from the top dock was a hit with all along with the swim mat. Fishing was terrible for this time of year. We rented a pontoon from Triple Creek Marina which was excellent also. The owners of the house and marina were top notch to work with. Thank you so much!

Our family loved this lake house!
Our family had a wonderful weekend at Smith Lake! The home was very clean. Bruce was super easy to communicate with. The dock was fabulous and the evening views were amazing! Our boys loved fishing in the evenings after spending the day on the water. We cannot wait to go back!

Something for everyone
This was the perfect house for our 4th of July weekend. Everyone had plenty of space to sleep and hang out. The porch has a beautiful view. The pier is spacious and not too rough even on this busy weekend. The lot has something for everyone. Shallow rocks for the dog and kids to easily walk out on to wade and swim. A low rock cliff for jumping that ages enjoyed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The only suggestion is to bring Tupperware or some kind of storage option for leftovers. Everything we needed was in close distance- a very convenient marina across the lake. Diana was friendly and very easy to work with. I will definitely rent again.

Beautiful Lake Home with Amazing View
Our family of five (and our poodle) had an amazing week at this wonderful lake home!!! The view was spectacular. The house was clean and comfortable. Check in/out was easy. The lenders were great with communication and directions.The two story dock was a hit with our teenagers who are high school swimmers. We spent a lot of time there. We brought our boat and had such fun on Lake Smith, tubing, water skiing and wakeboarding. Thank you so much for letting us call your home ours for the week.We hope to stay again. Blessings.

Perfect Vacation
We enjoyed staying here so much— we’ve stayed at other smith lake properties before, and this one was our favorite by far! The views from inside the house as well as ease to the water were perfect. Loved fishing off the rocks and in the kayaks… and kids loved jumping off the double dock and float pad. Thank you Gordons for sharing your lovely home with us.

Nice place on the water
We had a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The house had good space for our family of 6, there were great views from the deck, and we enjoyed use of the dock and kayaks. Bruce and Diane were responsive and helpful. Tip for renters: bring your own salt & pepper, foil, and storage containers / Tupperware - the kitchen was missing these essentials.

Great Lake House
Perfect location for an outdoor fishing/swimming getaway. Unfortunately it rained the majority of our stay. The house had plenty of room for our group to hang out together indoors as well!

Wonderful Extended Weekend
The property is wonderful! We had 5 adults, but this place could easily have accommodated a few more. It was a little cool and breezy (thank you, March!), but we had a blast. Local food & grocery much better than expected. The lake view, comfortable beds, roomy bedrooms, dependable wi-fi, great value for the cost..not sure what else to add. We'll be back!

Unbeatable view
Home was very clean and has everything you could need. Double decker dock was fabulous, a very unique experience, loved hanging out up top with our family. Porch was perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sights. This was our first trip to smith lake and we were unaware of the high drop offs going out to the water. We had to be extra vigilant with are 3 year old and pup. Just a heads up if you are traveling with small children.

Everything was exactly as described and shown online. The view was incredible. There was room for all of us, each child had a bedroom. The dock and equipment, kayaks, etc were just as described. We had a great time.

Spectacular porch and dock!
We loved the porch and parked our boat at the dock. Kids loved jumping from top of dock into the water. There are not a ton of stairs to the water, but the sidewalk/hill is still pretty steep, just bear in mind if anyone in your party has knee issues.

Great stay
We had a great time. You can’t beat the views and the outdoor space. Bruce and Diane were super easy to work with. Because they allow dogs, I love that the home was all hardwoods so even though it was allowed I didn’t have to worry about the dog being too dirty or anything although we keep our doodle nice and clean before coming inside. We super enjoyed this stay and will hope to be back!

Great house and great location
The house was very clean and just as described. The location was excellent. We had a great time on the water. We brought a jet ski and the public boat ramp was easy to find and not far from the house. Plenty of space on the water to have fun. The walk down to the boat dock was easy and it was fun to walk along the rocks and see the fish in the water. In the evening, the deck was a perfect location to sit and watch the sun set. We had a question about the grill and the owner replied very quickly. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect Getaway
This is our 2nd time staying here, and we love it! The house is a perfect size for our family of 6 and has plenty of room. We all enjoy a relaxing kayak ride when the lake is quiet. Jumping off the boathouse, swimming to all the rock features, and enjoying the floating mat are highlights for the kids. We can't say enough about how great it is. And communication with the owners has always been easy. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your home.

Great Smith Lake Experience

Richardson Family Smith Lake Stay
There were four adults, one teenager, and two under the age of ten in our family group. We had a wonderful time staying in this awesome lake house. The location on the lake is perfect, the double decker dock is the best seat in the house as the sun is setting, and the porch overlooking the lake is the perfect early morning spot. The house is prefect for a smaller group and the setting is beautiful!

Great Lake Escape
Our family had a wonderful week at the house. We loved the 2 story dock, the kayaks, and the amazing view. Not having a dedicated master bathroom was not an issue for us - two boys were upstairs and my husband and I were downstairs. If you need life jackets for anyone over 90 lbs, you’ll need to bring them. We’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and relaxing lakefront property!
We enjoyed every second of our stay! I wish we would have had a boat to take more advantage of the lake but the swim pad, kayaks and boat dock kept three teenagers and two adolescents occupied and content for five days! I look forward to staying at this home again in the future!

Amazing place with stunning views!
Our group of 8 adults loved staying at this beautiful lakefront property after we wheeled all day at Stoney Lonesome offroad park. Plenty of parking for our vehicles was an added bonus. The accommodations were fantastic. The host was wonderful to communicate with and help manage my groups needs. He went out of his way to make the booking process easy. Will definitely stay there again next time we visit the area.

Great house on a beautiful lake
Although the location is pretty remote, the house was fantastic. Views of the lake are beautiful. House had everything we needed with very welcomed added touches like K-cups, shampoo, and body wash for guests. The dock is a great place to hang out & we loved the kayaks.

Serenity Now
We arrived after dark ... so getting to the property was awkward but not impossible! Waking up to that beautiful view of the lake was well worth the drive! We had the best time just sitting on the front porch and/or dock just watching the boats go by! The house is clean and minimally furnished ( BUT furnished with just the right furniture ... large dining room table, beds, and sofas ) and the kitchen is well stocked and very clean. The parking is a bit wonky at first but ok once you get out and survey the space. The neighbors are very friendly as well! Really a great property and perfect getaway!

Undoubtedly Smith Lake is a place many people have been... but us. We loved it. It was a quick get away weekend. Great weather, the water was perfect. Kayaking was fun. Check out day it was raining but to sit out on the porch and just listen was amazing. Great house sitting right in the middle of a bend in the lake. Not anything negative to say other than a place to put your suitcase. :-) We will be back with a bigger crew for sure.

Very comfy stay
You cannot beat this property's view!! Other than sleeping, we spent 90% of our time outside...whether we were on our rented boat out on the lake, sitting on the wonderful dock, or lounging on the amazing porch!! We did cook breakfast every morning and dinner 3 nights. The kitchen has EVERYTHiNG you could possible need! We were there with one other couple. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom. The bed was super comfy. The bathroom is not ensuite, and it is shared with the additional downstairs bedroom. This wasn't a problem for us, and would be perfectly fine for a family with children as well, but might not be ideal for 2 couples. There is a similar situation upstairs: two bedrooms and a shared hall bath. The other couple said their bed was comfy too. I can't attest to the comfort of the other 2 bedrooms. The only problem was, we had no dresser or drawers to put our clothes. I used the bunk beds to lay out my things. The bathroom was equipped with lots of fluffy towels as well as shampoo and body wash. The entire property was super clean and well maintained. The owner was very nice and super responsive to any questions we had. There was plenty of seating in the dining room and the living room. We only sat there once for a football game. As other reviewers have mentioned, there could be more decor to cozy it up a bit, but like a said, we didn't go to the beautiful lake to sit inside. The porch furniture was very comfy and we spent many hours there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would love to go back and visit!!

Great Weekend!
This was a great way to end summer with friends! The dock was amazing and it was an easy walk from the house. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed sitting on the shaded porch.
