The cozy house in Trättlanda, just south of Årjäng, is located in a rural setting and thus offers the ideal conditions for a beautiful vacation in nature. Here you can retreat after the day's adventures and enjoy a delicious meal together by the wood-burning stove. Later, relax with a movie or end the day by candlelight in the conservatory. Canoes and kayaks can be hired from the owners on site.



Discover the numerous lakes and beautiful paddling waters! You will be spending your vacation in one of Sweden's most lake-rich regions, whose countless lakes are connected by the old and beautiful Dalsland Canal. Here you will find the ideal conditions for paddling tours. If you like cycling, we recommend the national cycle path, the Unionweg. Experience the canal with its imposing locks and explore the "Gammelgården" in Bengtsfors, western Sweden's largest open-air museum. Also visit Årjäng and let yourself be carried away by the town's passion for harness racing and take part in a centuries-old market tradition. Borgåsgubben and the Glaskogen nature reserve are also good excursion destinations. There is an old railroad not far from the house where you can hire a trolley and ride along the track. The surrounding area offers excellent swimming and fishing opportunities and there is a large shopping center in Töcksfors.
