It is also home to one of the most interesting archaeological sites in the western Mediterranean: the necropolis of Trayamar, a complex of Paleopunic tombs dating back to the seventh century BC. The Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Málaga houses various objects found in this enclave, and you shouldn't miss the birthplace of Picasso either! You can relax on the beautiful beaches of Algarrobo and simply enjoy beach life.
