"Lovely old villa located in the midst of the grape vines just outside Canelli. Gated (electric) entrance with plenty of parking inside the wall. Beautiful views across the valley with vineyards, hazelnut trees, and a local flock of sheep! Tricky 1.5 km drive up a narrow road with lots of twists and turns to get to the villa, but you get used to it after a day or two! Diane and Brian were excellent hosts and most gracious, very willing to answer all our questions, make recommendations, and help...

"The house is bright and beautiful. Everything was very clean. Our host Michael was amazing. Communication was easy and it’s clear that they want to take good care of the house and provide the best experience for the guests. We just loved our stay here! The views from the balcony and from the pool are stunning. Here you can enjoy the serenity of the countryside, yet it takes only 6 minutes by car to get into the nearest village, supermarket etc. We would love to get back here one day!"

"The property itself is very nicely renovated and has a high quality touch and feel. Castino is nicely located to explore the Langhe. However, after renting holiday properties for almost 15 years we dare say that this one has let us down in several aspects. First and foremost it is not equipped sufficiently to serve 4 adults leave alone the 8 advertised. I.e. we only found a 2 cup Bialetti Mokka maker and a 4 cup filter coffee maker in the entire house; there were only 4 big coffee mugs for all...

"We throughly enjoyed this house. Giulio was the ultimate host. He was prompt in his response and often would show up to address any issue within minutes of being alerted to it. The house was beautiful and clean. Each room had amazing views and the living space was the perfect spot for drinks with a view. The house was also super convenient for walking into town for restaurants and bars. The car stayed in the driveway unless we were going to another city. Highly recommend this listing to anyone...

"We visited this house with four youngsters (18-21) and two dogs and we enjoyed the enormous space in and around the house. The swimmingpool was great. The whirlpool wasn't heated so we only could use that between 3 and 5 PM. Than the automatically refreshing of the water started and it went cold. But when one knows this, one adapts... Really great was the big room with the table tennis, table football and pool table. Even at the hottest hour of the day you could play there if you wanted. Around...

O local é perto de supermercados e um pouco distante do centro (principalmente pq estava um tempo chuvoso), mas como estávamos de carro, foi super tranquillo. Nos foi oferecido estacionamento coberto por 5 euros por noite e foi óitimo pois a vaga era ao lado do elevador, o que facilitou com as malas. Mas quem não quer pagar, há várias vagas...

"Fomos super bem atendidos na nossa chegada. Inclusive nos foi informado sobre um festival de vinhos que estava acontecendo na cidade (fomos e amamos). O local é perto de supermercados e um pouco distante do centro (principalmente pq estava um tempo chuvoso), mas como estávamos de carro, foi super tranquillo. Nos foi oferecido estacionamento coberto por 5 euros por noite e foi óitimo pois a vaga era ao lado do elevador, o que facilitou com as malas. Mas quem não quer pagar, há várias vagas descobertas perto da recepção. O quarto era enorme, com sala e uma cozinha. Chuveiro excelente. Tivemos uma ótima estadia e recomendo muito."
