Our host Filomena not only welcomed us to her beautiful home, she even found our relatives before we arrived, and knowing that the Municipo would be closed during our visit she obtained a copy of the birth record for us. We happened to be visiting during Il Carnivale, so Filomena explained the customs, the parade and festival and she gave us a guided tour of the city with lots of photo opportunities. "Did not even come close to our expectations. We checked in just to have somewhere to catch our breath and look for alternative accommodation. Left without talking to the host as we didn't want to waste any more time there. It was a converted garage and the so called courtyard was non excistent as your car needed to be parked in what was in fact the driweway."
