"Beautifully appointed apartment with view over the buildings in front of the lake and mountain. Comfy living room seating and plenty of space for 2 couples. Third single room was great as a dressing room. Few minor things needed fixing (bathroom door lock broken so one of our party got trapped in there), coffee machine not working properly and no blind in one of the bedroom windows. "The location is perfect, on beautiful grounds, nice view of the mountains, close to Turangi (where you can find restaurants) and about 30 minutes from the Tongariro National Park.
I was a little disappointed with the inside of the chalets, specially considering their prices. Decoration is rustic, but not charming.
When I saw them on the website (hotels.com) I had the impression I was booking another room, which looked better. Also, in the reservation it said "hot tub" but it turns out that...

"Kasia was very pleasant and a more than helpful host. She offered us an upgraded apt unit upon arrival that had a view of the lake. She also provided us a Firestick for the TV so we could enjoy some well missed Netflix and AppleTv shows during our travels. The apt unit was roomy and super clean with no clutter and had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed the heated spa but didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool or tennis courts during our stay.
