The location for us was a perfect balance, close enough to Porto to be able to pop in and out but just far enough away to feel a slower pace and connect with the lifestyle. It provided easy access to Porto but also an excellent home base to explore the different areas of the north, including the Duro Valley. And I cannot say enough about the host, Sebatião. Have a beautiful back yard with a sitting area and plenty of room to hang our clothes was amazing.Luisa goes above and beyond. She helped us arrange our sightseeing and even got us discounts. He gave us a quick tour of the area pointing out restaurants, grocery store and bakery. He gave us a history of the property and offered suggestions for dining and sightseeing in Porto.
