Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventure and exploration in the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway and Mountains, or just a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life, the Fern Cottage provides just the right combination of luxury and convenience. From the furnished deck to the two bedrooms complete with comfy queen beds and private bathrooms, everything has been thoughtfully designed to ensure a perfect stay. After a day of fun, take advantage of the Weber charcoal grill! You will love the seclusion of the area, where you can hear only the birds sing with none of the distractions of the city. That’s what Fern Cottage is all about: a place to unwind, relax, and create special memories that will last a lifetime.

Somake yourself at home…you won’t believe how quickly you’ll forget the rest of the world exists! Please be mindful that no pets and no smoking are allowed, and any evidence of either may incur a $250 penalty. We kindly ask that you do not move furniture and keep the Cottage clean and presentable upon check out for the next guests. A local phone for 911 and local calls is provided, as well as enhanced cell phone coverage with a cell booster. Now come on over and enjoy the best trip of your life!
Just a few reminders:
1 - NO Pets allowed, we have other properties you can bring FIDO
2 - Absolutely NO Smoking of any kind
3 - Please do not move furniture
4 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels
5 - Remember it's our home, so treat it with respect
6 - The grill is a small Weber charcoal table top.
7 - PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FIREPIT IS NOT PART OF FERN COTTAGE. PLEASE DO NOT USE.
8 - There is limited cell coverage at the Cottage. Verizon picks up well, but AT&T does not. We have added a Cell booster that helps, but sometimes you will need to step on the porch for a signal. We suggest using WiFi Calling if you need it.
