Beach Stay
The house is right on the beach, which we loved. The house looked better in the photos and some of the furniture pictured was missing. Two balconies off the two bedrooms with ocean views were great. It would have been even better if they had chairs to sit at for morning coffee. The pictures show chairs on the balconies and that was a draw to me for booking so I was disappointed when the chairs were missing. Was not comfortable to sit on the balcony without them. The property is a little run down and with the recent storms, many of the close by homes were boarded up. The property to the side of us was a disaster with boarded up windows and debris all over the place. Not pleasant to look at. The property on the other side had unsightly ’no trespassing’ signs everywhere with warnings not to cross over the boarder between patios (even though there is a city ordinance stating there must be a thruway walking path along the beach side). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice with plenty of towels. We had plenty of room for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and great to cook in. All in all we had a great time. And spent time sitting on the beach which is steps outside the back door. We loved that!

Great place!
The place was great with incredible views. I had to do some work on the trip so using the desk on the top floor, facing right out to the ocean was fantastic. We were able to park right outside the front door, which was nice. there were a few small eateries walkable and a ton of options within a short drive. The kitchen was well stocked and we even had a welcome bottle of local wine. Beautiful bathrooms and lots of beds. Decor, patio furniture, etc. was all just as described in the pictures. A lounger or 2 on the patio would be a nice addition. My only complaint is for this price point, you really should be able to access the beach directly from your patio. They explained this clearly in the listing so I wasn't surprised, but I did notice that that some neighbors had steps through the rock wall directly to the beach so hopefully that is something the owners will consider in the future. But it wasn't hard to just go out to the street side and walk around the building to get to the beach. Overall, a very nice place with a 5 star view!

Great location to relax on the beach
Overall a great place to spend a few days relaxing by the beach. Place was clean but a little bit dated/worn. Location was great with restaurants nearby.

Picture Perfect
We stayed for four nights at the end of May and had a spectacular time! Loved being able to walk right out the door and onto the beach every night during sunsets and enjoy our coffee on the patio every morning and listen to the waves! Getting of chose a better place, if we tried! The entire experience from Checkin to check out was perfect

Wonderful beachfront retreat
The description is accurate - condo and view truly are jaw-dropping and you can hear the waves. We had 3 adult children (20 somethings) and parents (55-ish) and we all found things to enjoy together and separately. The walks in both direction along the shore are amazing - and we even walked up the hill to town one night. A treasured time and memory.

Love the beach (and the house)!
The sound of waves lulled me to sleep and watching birds, dolphins, and seals started my day! We couldn't have asked for a better location, or a more comfortable place for my sister's family and mine to gather. Amazing!

Gorgeous property on the beach
Stunning views on three levels with more than enough space for four of us. The beach is literally just outside the door. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. The only challenge was deciding who got the oceanfront bedrooms.

Family get away
This property was fantastic for our family vacation! The bedrooms were perfect for our sleeping arrangements with bathrooms on each level. The kitchen was very functional, clean and well stocked with cooking, prep and eating utensils. But by far the best amenity is the location for beach access and shopping. We are considering going back!

Perfect for entertaining
My friends and I booked this space to host a Bachelorette Party for 9 women. Location was perfect, we watched pods of dolphins feed each morning and enjoyed people/seal watching from the patio throughout the day. Kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of couch space for 10 people. Bathrooms on each floor and plenty of bed space for our group. Only *suggestion* The downstairs TV is placed in an odd spot directly behind the couch and many people hit their heads on it. I would recommend mounting it higher on the wall or up in the corner to avoid it falling on a guest or having someone put their head through it! All in all, our time here was lovely and we enjoyed the space.

Amazing
This place was ideal location and was very well catered for inside. I judge a place on 3 things 1) location 2) modern and clean 3) how comfortable are the beds All 3 get 5 stars! Slept really well .. will definitely go back

Amazing location
Right on beach. Walkable to a cafe. Paradise. Fits 8 better than 10 (last two are single futons on the ground). Otherwise amazing views and well appointed. We would definitely come back.

Amazing beachfront property
We booked this place for our Fall girls trip! The property is beachfront and adjacent to the public walkway. Lots of activity and people watching. The views were stunning and it was spacious enough for 8 people. We unanimously want to return.

It was clean, perfectly located directly on the beach, and while we were concerned to not have a garage, it wasn't a problem at all to find street parking. We will absolutely be back - it was an effortless getaway.

Great home
A beautiful, funky property as close as you can get to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay. Please note that the full "packing list" that's provided is not actually necessary, TP and paper towels were provided. Also, the email with wifi info is out of date and the cell reception for us was poor in the area, so ensure you have check in information before you arrive.

Great beach house
Excellent location right on the beach. Jaleh was a fantastic host. The house was perfectly described, super clean at check in and the kitchen was well stocked. It would be nice to have some beach chairs for guests to use, but otherwise, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Amazing beach getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aptos! The location of this home is fantastic - right on the beach, but a little bit away from the public parking, so the beach doesn't get crowded. The home is just as pictured, very clean and very spacious. Rooms are good sized and accommodated our family of 4 plus grandparents very comfortably. It is street parking, but there was ample parking every time we returned, so that wasn't an issue.

It's good but I expected better for the price
The location is amazing and the property was clean. But when I spend this much, I expect a decent mattress and clean hair. Our bed was very squeaky (second floor king) and unforgiving, so my partner and I could feel every movement of the other person. The shower was like a nice spring rain and it was difficult to rinse even short hair. The check-out procedures were incredibly nitpicky and demanding compared to other VRBO properties despite the steep cleaning fee.

I’m happy to hear you enjoyed your trip and the location! However, I’m sorry to hear that you were unhappy with one of our beds and the water pressure. Unfortunately, there’s not much we could have done about the water pressure as it meets California standards. The bed would have been an easy fix, I could have had someone there in minutes to tighten the screws. I recommend that all guests tell me if something is bothering them during their stay so we can find a solution snd they can get back to enjoying the beach :)

Wonderful location and delightful house
In a prime location, this property sits right on the sands edge. Just a few steps and the kids are playing and totally entertained. The house was well appointed. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and we used instacart to have all groceries delivered. Marianne's ice cream is right up the road too! Communication with Jaleh was very easy and she was very responsive. The only downfall was the cleaners were late finishing up the property when we arrived and we sat in our car for over 30 min. with very anxious and excited kids. Other than that (which was no refelction on the rental) was perfect! We frequent Rio Del Mar beach so we it great to stay there without the hassel of driving home. And there is no better sound than listening to the waves when you are falling asleep.

Amazing house and stellar location!
Our family stayed at this house late last year into early this year, and it is a beautiful house in a great location! We had three kids and three adults, and everyone loved it. The house is perfectly set up and clean, and the location right on the beach cannot be beat!

great house!
we had a great time with family at this house. the location cannot be beat. Waking up to the sound of the ocean each morning is wonderful. The nextdoor neighbor is very grouchy though and makes sure you do not put any belongings even 1 inch on his patio space or he will tell you 🙄.

Great location!
Wonderful location right on the beach. Wonderful ocean sounds and views. Four bedrooms are all functional. Two have great views. A little weird having the path right outside the house, but not a big deal. Jaleh is an excellent manager and a pleasure to work with. We will return.

Wonderful ocean sound at night
Since the sleeping rooms are upstairs on the second and third floor, we felt very safe leaving our sliding door open at night for the air and crashing wave sounds. It was great.

Ocean views of bliss from all 3 levels!
This is an absolutely beautiful beach home to stay in. Up to date and modern fixtures and decorations, very comfortable bed, and incredible views as soon as you step inside and pull back the curtains! We received a warm welcome gift (thanks so much) and communication with the property manager was excellent from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves ocean views, sleeping with the slider open to hear waves, and putting your toes in the sand with a few steps!

Great Getaway
This is such a lovely house, in the perfect location. Right on the beach, with the sand about four feet from your patio furniture. We have previously enjoyed staying at this rental, and this time was extra special ... our family, visiting from Kansas, had never seen a beach, or ocean, previously! Fun times, and great memories.

Great Location, Great Views, Beach Access
We stayed here to celebrate our mom's 89th birthday and her wish was to be "on the beach". This place was "perfect" according to her with very easy access just steps away. The views from the bedroom balconies were amazing.. The property was clean, comfortable, quiet and we'd happily stay here again. There is lots of on the srteet parking.

Relaxing and convenient!

Great trip
This is a very clean house with a great view of the ocean. The beach is steps away with no street in between you and the ocean. Highly recommend.
